A lot of people left after the SLM Race..... Boy did they miss a great Modified Race..... the tight racing and serious crash fest was like the highlight of the night imo.... but sure glad that Jake Perkins ended up with a p2 in the SLM....he struggled for a bit, but came on strong toward the end... finished with a p4, but with the dq's, he ended up with the 2nd place.... good race Jake.... Last night was crazy. We had drunken meth-head lady beating up her husband (?) and each of them falling down the bleachers several timez. We had a very competetive slm and mod race in spite of the crashes..big time crashes. Had big Dick Anderson proving to me yet again why i cant stand him, and that he is suprisingly fast as well.
That kid Sargent is pretty damn good, i was watching him during the derby and he came from the back for a 2nd. Drove his eay there too, not a fluke. Held his own last night trading love w nasse along the way.
Hope clouser returns and also hope rogers figures out whatever new stuff he is working on.
Thoroughly enjoyed it but we did leave prior to sportsman race, my only regret as i love that division.

Super late race was decent, mod race wasnt that good and took way too long. and how does someone who has been around as long as dick anderson not know to hold the brake when he wrecks? Both times he rolled across the track and took out someone else. Sportsman race wasnt bad, but there seemed to be a couple of drivers in that one who ran into every car they got near. Top 2 sportsman drivers were DQ'ed in tech for being under weight.lets all take a long ride on a short bus.
I quit fishing because no one was standing at the docks handing out money when i got back, why did you quit racing?

Hey where were you guys sitting. Looked for you but didn't see you. I must of been in the same area as Bubba as I also witnessed the disgraceful display between the wife & husband, Felt real bad for their children having to watch Dad and Mom fight and fall all over the place. Too bad NSS Security didn't step in on the action. Wife & hubby gave a new meaning to the term family sport ??? Oh well !!! Very cold and sat pretty still most of the night. Old School ,there was so much that happened last night I believe announcer Dave will be writing his new book just about this event. Really taints a show with DQ's, especially that of Sargent who drove one heckuva race in the lates. Then again the rumblings of a DQ for the Sportsman feature winner. Surprised the Mods were AOK !!! All races were very good and I have a continue tossup as to whether the Supers or the Mods were the best of the night. Plenty of action in both events. My vote for best looking cars go to Dippel in the Super Late #1 and ole Dickie Anderson in the #7 modified. Both divisions saw many, many cars with plenty of damage. Really looking forward to Dave's article. Also miss Kim's complete race finish post. Concession stand seems to have added a 'sula dog to compete with Ocala's Zuber dog, My score on this one is Sula 0 Zuber 1. Great time of the year as Speedweeks '15 heats up !!! See ya at the races !!! Stay warm.....

Sorry old school, so much stuff going on, not even sure what i saw in some cases!
I do know Dickie had a bad fast and slick looking mod and reduced it to a heap after running near the front. Slamming quite a few folks along the way.
I also know Joe Boyd had a real oh shit moment coming out of four in the third lane with two cars under him and it closed up big time. Spencer davis and Boyd probably got the worst of it with Davis getting up in the air over Boyd. Took out everybody from 5th thru 15th just about.
Re the drunks...i thought that the only one that looked responsible was surely driving the crew home, but i happened to turn around and saw them headed seperate ways in the parking lot! The kids went with her and the other two disappeared into the lot. Looked for a car make/model to give fhp, but never saw the car. Truly sad, those kids have no chance in life.

Though I doubt you havent seen this and really think you are just bitching:

It should have most of what you want. Some things you just need to get out and see first hand - like the new DIS injectors. They were awesome. The whole thing is damn impressive. As was the show at NSS.

Thanks for the story and results Dave. I enjoy reading the story on what happened for all the Florida asphalt tracks. For some reason 3 Palms and Bronson don't like to post or report the results to Karnac. One can only physically visit one track per weekend and it would be nice to at least see the results on here for these tracks. Ok that's my rant
