I dunno, would have a hard time bolting on the fake pipes, but ya do what ya gotta do.

Kind of like fake painted on exhaust pipe graphics on the rear bumper of cup cars--just hard to take...

What are you thinking regarding paint? The red white and blue thing?

Black and gold like smokey's camaros? Black and chrome like buddy baker's LeMans?

Yeah just so much of the look for these iconic cars. Still thinkin that over...anyway they can easily come off.

Another thought--go with "factory" style side exhaust or maybe one big pipe that wraps around at the front and then plumb the schoenfelds into the RH one halfway down the pipe.

All ideas are free and simply for your review, of course.

Another paint thought (I am full of them {or something...})--Maybe a "Goodwrench" black and silver theme similar to the Hendrick Prototype Corvette.

Grandstand only (my choice) 2 days--$40 at the gate.

Order in advance through Pitshop or Racetickets.com, there is an additional "service" (or some such) fee of $15.

Back in the Day they were either free or $10 for years when Exxon was the sponsor (heavy sigh...).

Probably you could swing a free set of tickets if you buy a watch...

Maybe the packages are better, didn't check on them.

Phil, thanks & that is a good deal for the money (for those contemplating going for the first time). I have been there & done the whole deal many times, am pretty much good beached in the stands these days.

Scott, the RV lot is accessible from the grandstands, correct?

I'm pretty sure the RV lot we are in outside of Turn 1 is accessible even without a ticket. Would make a great spot for a pre-green Karnac get together with y'all!

Pre green, they let people from the stands on the infield front straight grass. That's where my group will be before we head into the stands for the start and first 5-10 laps of the race. Then we wander around for a few hours.

Probably busy pre-green with tickets, herding the pack mules carrying blankets, figuring out the "injectors" and all that.

Will check in around dusk probably, but please do whatever ya want to do and don't plan around that...

Will have the "better" half, so, ya know, it's all subject to change.

By the 4 hour mark last year, I was in rough shape lol! I plan to spread it out a bit more this year so I can enjoy a little more of Saturday bahahaha!!!
