What kind of person tries to buy a track so he can close it?
heard there was meeting of all dirt track promoters in central and north fl,only one promoter was a no show!!!!! The one that wants to close VSP

I don't know if it applies here but, actually in the business world it's not uncommon to buy a business and shutter it...if it is a competitor or has other assets that you desire.
I don't know all of the facts but I hardly see enough of either here that would apply...

Actually we already had a thread about this it was for Georgia and Florida promoters. In the grand scheme of things Bubba didn't need to go as he has moved his racing to Fridays so scheduling won't conflict anyway. This is the first i'm hearing that he tried to buy VSP to close it could you provide proof? Seems to me you are just trying to start crap without any real evidence. After further review looks like your post history indicates you are just trying to start trouble.

May i ask who your source might be there winger? I keep getting 2 stories so far 1-This is entirely false 2-It was actually one of Bubba's partners who tried to get the lease and not shut it down but use the track for special events only.

My rely to Winger was just to report what i found out after asking around. We all know Bubba is not the most honest individual so its not unbelievable that he might pull something. After talking with Winger i would have to say that something was attempted but nothing really came of it. Probably a good thing for dirt racing in FL.
