Even though I've liked the ability to watch the modified race, Speed51 has been nothing short of a joke...For $15 pay-per-view fee, I would have expected more. It took me almost 2 hours to log on to be able to watch and missed all over the Derby qualifying and 15 times or so shut the feed off and made me refresh it. The picture from the cameras was horrible, not to mention their cameramen were all over the place and during actual racing were cutting from action to people in the pits. And their in race reporters and announcers were horrible. They had no clue what was going on, didn't know who was who, drivers names and the girl that they had on pit road, Mikalah or whatever was as oblivious to racing as I am to building a space shuttle.

I havent had any troubles getting in or anything, so keeping my fingers crossed. What annoyed me more than the announcers were the red flags and crazy caution periods that race took forever. 5 flags needs to step up the clean up!
The track announcers from the first night were more knowledgeable.
Todays racing during daylight should look better as will the snowball.

I didn't have any issues watching except for every 30 minutes it would stop and I would need to stop and restart the broadcast. The announcer from Fox sports calling the super late models was good but the others not so much, but there were long caution and red flag conditions so what are they supposed to talk about? The girl on pit road is atrocious
The quality is acceptable though, we have to remember this is not a major network with high tech equipment and they are unwilling to cover events like these. Have to appreciate what speed51 is doing and support them through all of the growing pains so that we can have more events like the Snowball derby broadcasted live!

I've watched 4 or 5 of the Xsan.tv events and except for the fact that they're not in High Def they were great. The announcers were very very knowledgeable and the fact that they only had one or two cameras actually made it refreshing to me, kind of like sitting there yourself. I haven't watched a speed51 stream but I look at it like you said, this is a new thing that has popped up in just the last two years so it's like the wild wild west of TV. It'll get better and better.

Snowball and Snowflake last chance races and Trucks after Snowflake Q. I'm going to grab a little power nap and head out.
I'm a single dad and have one daughter left at home or I'd be more open to letting some of you guys stay here at the compound.

Modifieds just finished their practice and DJ Hoezle was running 7th fastest out of 34 mods. I may pay $20 and tune in tonight!

Glad I stuck around for the Snowflake 100, Pollard won after a long green flag run. Augie looked to be the guy to beat, then Nemechek, then pollard took over and held it to the end as Nemechek pressured him the rest of the way through heavy lapped traffic.
