Boy i'm sure FasCrap is going to hate me but here's the reason why!

Why put money into a persons pocket that doesnt care to further the sport!(Even though he used to be a racer himself)
I say stay away let the last race be a ghost town show the owner what you think of his back door.. slide the rug out from Florida racing fans and quick sale gets him! This is what i've been saying all along and some knew the reputation of this man and his history. Boycott all of his other buisness ventures as well since he doesnt support racing why support him.

At the least this guy should do is the following:
Donate or at a minimum give other tracks first shot at the lights. bleachers. and other ammenaties that others could use to upgrade their facility.

Stands and tower to CCMP.
Lighting to any track that needs it!
Score board!

cant agree with you on this...

if we boycott USA Speedway Saturday , the only people who will suffer are the drivers and the fans. The fate of the track is sealed and the owner can do what he wants. so i say...the more racers the better... and i will be one of the fans who will love watching them and i will take as many pictures as i can... i will build memories ...then when the lights go out, i will cry!

Sorry but I do not agree. If it is truly the last race for USA, the drivers deserve to have a good crowd to watch them race. They deserve it and you can't change my mind on that. I was there when they reopened Lakeland and I will be there when they close if this is the last race but I believe the drivers deserve to race with alot of fans in the stands watching them and yes, this is my own personal opinion.

Wish I could catch a ride with you all for Saturday but we are taking our son out for a belated birthday gift. Yesterday he turned 17!!! I have never seen a race at USA, hubby dragged race there once and I was in a car show. Some of my friends took me over a few years ago for a big race, but it rained so we came home to only find out they started the race at midnight which was too late for us. Would like to see it stay open just so I can see a race there.

When it was announced that another SSS race was going to be held there, I started working on my car. Also, told some friends about the race and that they should all race this track if it's the last thing they do! Sure enough at least three of the locals here, started calling me about gearing, set-ups(not that I'm the GURU) and hotels etc..We were planning a CONVOY!! Damnit, man!

if i won the lottery i would make some deals with Amico for some stands etc for CCMP!
But if you come down a track dinner is on me... the least i could do for someone who travels that far to see us. lol this is NOT an invitation for ANYONE else!!! roflllllllllll i am an old widow on a fixed income...lol
i am very proud of our track. the people are so warm and friendly and racing is good!
whatever you do, have a fun and safe weekend.
I loved the track at Columbia (lake city).... it is gorgeous up there. i told Sandy Nerone if i owned that place i would build my house right on track property. it is so different than any other race track.... just beautiful....
