  • Hunting Season is on and it shows.

Between Hunting Season, a Wedding, and two Teams going on a cruse made for a light field of Mod Minis at Auburndale. When we (the Old Farts) got there at 5:30 (I traded a trailer for a Dwarf Car "Jim Taylors #13 Old Yeller" and his trick enclosed trailer) Jason said "It's going to be a test session". There were only 4 cars. Oh well Jason still had stiff competition. We finished third (it was fun to see him take the picture on the front stretch). Always looking forward to next week. The weather was perfect and got to see some more of the old FASTRUCK friends and families. Saw where the trucks raced at Desoto (8 trucks), and Show Time (5 trucks). At a $1000.00 to WIN you would think the Teams would of put Hunting off for a week. Rex was talking about his 2015 plans and that's exciting to hear the changes. Remember it is a lot more fun when you have a smile on your face. Be nice to each other and enjoy life to it's FULLEST!!!!.

It must only be hunting season in Auburndale, other tracks like Desoto had a large field of Mod Minis.

      Remember Matt.

Postives breed postives.='s. Plus Matt we don't have a Desoto gear. The truck counts at both tracks were LOW. Maybe truckers are Auburndale hunters???? $1000.00 to Win is GREAT. We only paid $750.00 and always had 35 plus for years. Matt what class do you race????

I'm not so sure there's a lot of truck racers still out there. They can get a decent turnout ( not great but decent ) for major events, but i think pick up truck racing has seen it's best days.
