BREAST CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT AND E-MODIFIED 50 SET FOR NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, New Smyrna Speedway will be holding
a special Breast Cancer Awareness Night this Saturday as the E-Modifieds will
race for 50 laps and be joined by the Pro Late Models, Mini Stocks, Super
Stocks and Strictly Stocks in NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series
action.
Five dollars of each adult ticket will be donated to the Hart to Heart Breast
Cancer Foundation at New Smyrna Speedway. If you have purchased a Hart to

they have been on sale and wear it to the track Saturday evening, you will be
admitted absolutely free.
Defending E-Modified track champion Jarrett Korpi of Deltona looks to be well
on his way to back-to-back titles after his tenth win of the year last week as
he is now 29 points ahead of second place Jim Higginbotham who owns just a
three point edge over Matthew Green in third spot.
Australian Will Carroll now has an eleven point advantage over second place
Ricky Anderson in Pro Late Model points after taking his third win of the
season last week. Zach Jarrell is third in points, 23 markers behind
Anderson. David Russell has trimmed Pat Wells' Mini Stock points lead to just
seven going into this week's action with Brad Blanton now third in the
standings, 30 points behind Wells.
Shannon Kelly looks to be well on his way to a second straight Super Stock
championship now leading nearest challenger Mike Amato by 46 while Jimmy
Barron holds a big 77 point advantage in the Strictly Stock class over Zachary
Curtis who has just taken over second in points after winning for a seventh
time last week.
