    Hey Rick

Rick, you have a nice group of trucks running right now. Please dont do like TK did with the Classic Auto Racing Series. We didnt want to run Dirt tracks. The cars where not built for dirt. It cost a lot of money for the bodies on them as well as the truck stuff does.As you see, over half of your trucks stayed home, even knowing that it was a double header. I have been looking at trucks this year, boy Im glad that I didnt buy one. Please take time and think about this a little. Dirt is a ton of fun to run,if money is plenty but the way things are today, I think that you will kill it, if you continue pushing the dirt. I have been wroung before, but not this time! Good Luck with all that you do, and thanks for wanting to try. PS. Im not looking at upsetting you. Please understand that we dont all have a place to clean up after a dirt show.

As a fan now, I enjoyed watching the trucks on dirt. I used to run a FASTRUCK and would have probably raced it a time or two on dirt but maybe not, because it does require changes and I hate cleaning my stuff after a night on a dirt track. I don't think you're required to race every race.

Let me try to explain this....... first off we make the rules so there would me minimal changes and costs to do it. The trucks that came did a great job of adapting and by the comments of the track, some of the local drivers they put on a real good show. Our intent for next year is the same, trying to have 1 set of tires that will run all 4 races, we feel we have that possibility. Not allowing tons of changes, to run them. The drivers that ran learned a bucnh the other night. I think they all had a good time, but we also are looking at options. There will also be more information coming in the next week or so in a press release explaining how the points etc. will work so I encourage people to wait to hear all the info before getting negative and saying it will not work. We knew the we would struggle to get a bunch of trucks for it as many would sit back and watch to see how it went. It went well except for overall count, but they ones there did a great job of putting on a very good show. As far as cleaning all you have to do is go to a car wash with a sprayer, that is what we did when I raced dirt in NY many years ago. It can be done. I am not one to get upset unless people just slam you, I know not everyone will like the dirt, but we really feel it will help the series be viable, marketable and help the drivers be better prepared for future racing endevours. If you ask several of the drivers who started off not liking it, how much they improved and I bet helped them with truck control. Nope it is not everyones cup of tea, but that should not stop us from going forward, and as I said when all the info is out, I really do not think it will kill anything. I do appreciate comments and we are trying to do the best to make this series a strong deal. Thanks

We have a truck serie up this way, they mainly run pavement, but they have events on dirt too and road race.

The Revstar also here run dirt, pavement and ice.

Make better drivers, better teams, and gives you a better overview of the motorsport in general.

All the great ones of the sport did that, A.G., Mario, Dale Sr, Tony, JG, etc all raced different race tracks, different car, some even on different continents.

Hey Dave, you are starting to sound just like someone that I knew a few years ago. Just to let you know, I loved the dirt when I had a steel body. We have many nites at OCR and Putnum. Fiberglass bodies dont belong on dirt. Rick, I was trusspassed for useing the carwash on Curryford Rd in 1996. They said that I was plugging the drain and you cant use any cleaners there because of the EPA. Like I said before, I will wait to see how things go, and hopefully you will drop the Dirt. GOOD LUCK, and KEEP ON TRUCKIN

NASCAR also thought that diversifying the sport would make it better. Ask them how their overall standing with the fan base currently is.

I'm not by any means downing what you're trying to do because I feel that you are making a very viable effort to bolster short track racing in Florida. However, putting these trucks on dirt is nothing more than a copy cat scheme of what the NCWTS does at Eldora. Not that what they have done with that race isnt great, because as far as I'm concerned it's one of the best races in NASCAR other than the 500 and the All-Star race, but take into account, they draw more than 8 cars. Your series seems to be doing great things for the pro trucks, and from the results I see posted when you guys race, you draw a great field of cars with car counts always in the high teens. Why not just stick to what you know and not try to diversify for the sake of doing it because NASCAR is doing it? If people wanted to run dirt then they wouldn't have bought an asphalt pro truck. You've got to walk before you can run, and it just seems like the car count that you pulled in North Florida alienated a lot of your regular cars. Now if you're gonna try and run 4 of these races next year then you might as well make them non points because you can't expect people to want to compete for a points championship if they miss 4 races because they choose not to race on a surface that their car isn't designed for. Again, I think you're making valiant strides with this series, this is just my .02 on running dirt races. Keep up the good work.

A lot of the self service Car washes are like that today mainly because of the mess left behind too.

I bought a power washer after the third week. I hated getting up Sunday a.m. and spending the time cleaning it. But that's just me. I only washed my asphalt stuff every other month!

yes, you can buy a power washer, but what do you do with all the mud. Keep in mind that the trucks as on stock frame rails that you are not allowed to box. No mattar how much you wash, chunks will still be falling out at the next race.

What to do with the mud wasn't a problem. I live in the country. I usually got it all off my big ass Monte!

Rick I think the trucks on dirt was a good idea. Even saw a few people asking about rules and were honestly thinking of building a truck. I would say that is a positive.

Now you need to run some road course like west palm or sebring or both. Run the 800 tires and try to get a tv deal like bobby did with the FASTRUCK SERIES.

That's the reason I bought a FASTRUCK years ago. I was actually looking for a new street stock or sportsman car and happened to stumble on the FASTRUCK schedule. I saw USA AND Sebring and started looking for a truck immediately. It was disappointing that they ran the short course(really short) at Sebring but it was still a blast! Very hard on automatic trannys though. I blew mine up both times.
