Well folks in addition to a very good SLM 100 lapper there was some very good support division races as well. Sportsman surprised me with a 15 car field. Todd Allen in a great looking white #211 took the victory after starting 6th in the lineup. Austin Carr #10 had a great run from the eighth spot to finish second and #11 Daniel Conlin,Jr finished third after being the events early leader. Two cautions in this race which eliminated Derrick Wood on lap #4 and #14 John Buzinec on lap 114. Some strong comments in Victory Lane from a very happy but serious Todd Allen may serve warning that this may be the driver to contend with in the Sportsman ranks for the remainder of this season. Donny Williams in the #111 limped home in seventh after suffering body damage in the lap 4 tangle with the #33. Also Karnacian Diamond Jim Higginbotham #76 , driving injured after early week surgery, came home in 3rd place in the E Mods, following winner Matthew Green #44b and second place #112 Korpi who was having some type of motor issues. to be continued.......

NSS - support divisions continued - 9/27/14
The #9Z of Zack Curtis ran away from the field in the 11 car Strictly Stock feature. #89 of William Hindman finished a distant second. Great run by Shane Sutorus #24, moving from 5th to 3rd in the closing laps of the 20 lapper. Mini-Stocks #115 Tyler Simpson put on a good show as he finished 2nd after starting 7th. Simpson was right there with the winner #31 David Russell at races end. A couple more laps and the race may have been his. #71 Ted Vulpius was 3rd. I felt that the move of the night came from the track's starter. During intermission/autograph session, which I viewed from the stands, the starter was on the track searching out all of the late model drivers, wishing them luck, thanking them and ending with a handshake. Not only very nice to see but a great gesture from the starter and the track. Great way to make the drivers feel welcomed.....Well that's it for now,,,,see you in a couple of weeks.....BTW - try the pretzel dogs at the concession....thought they were very good and only $4.00 bucks ........... -
Heard that the strictly stock feature paid $150-200 to the winner.
Proof again that if you throw the drivers a bone,more racecars will enter your pits
