"A grand jury has decided Tony Stewart will not face charges for his role in the on-track death of sprint car driver Kevin Ward Jr. Prosecutors in upstate New York made the announcement Wednesday, just hours after the grand jury finished hearing testimony in the case. I am so thankful for our sports sake this issue is over and done with. I believe the authorities got it right and would feel the same without the drug issue. I hope all parties are able to accept this ruling and move on with their lives in what ever direction they wish to take. My sincerest condolences to the survivors during this horrible chapter of their lives. I cannot recall a more thorough review of any sports related incident that occurred during the sporting event. Some good will come of it in the area of improved safety.
