I answered the question, but ground pounder and you are just stirring things up that is the facts, and you certainly had no reason to be on my post.

This post was for the charity race, if either do not want to support that is fine but getting on it and starting things shows who and what you really are.
Add "idiot" to the pathological liar title that you currently carry. Since you lack the brains to pour piss out of a boot with instructions written under the heel, I will help you to understand what groundpounder was attempting to get out of you, but instead of answering his question you immediately went on the defensive as if you were trying to justify whatever it is that you are doing or to hide something. A person that donates to charity, especially a sum of $5,000 ( what you are looking for) has a right to know exactly how much of his donation is going to the intended source. Hell, you have no idea who he is and for all you know he could have been a sponsor! He may not "know" the event, but there was no need to respond like a 16 year old kid that was just informed that their car keys were taken away. That is the sign of a weak person and a horrible promoter...both of which clearly fit you. Groundpounder simply asked how much of the proceeds went to the actual cause. Many charities have so much overhead that very little goes to the cause. Here is a great example of how people in the business world would respond versus acting like a total moron:

    Groundpounder,
Our events benefit local families. All proceeds, minus the bare essentials to operate, goes directly to those who need it most. Over the past 8 years we have raised over $160,000 that has helped 20 families. We have board meetings and all the financial information is readily available. If you are interested in helping support the race, please contact me for more information. Information may also be obtained via our website. I can be reached at the number below my signature if you would like more information.

The "moron" way of doing things:
Groundpounder, you sir are another one, a stirrer who does not have a clue. My record is wide open I have a board of people that all attend meetings see the financials. In these 8 years to date we have raised over $160,000 that has now helped 20 children and families. We make sure the bills are paid before we open the gates, so then everything that is raised at the events can be split between the families 3 this year and we keep some for operating expenses. I do not need to explain myself to you, those that know the event and support the event know. You are just one that likes to stir stuff and apparently has an issue with me. Get out from behind your made up name and keyboard. So you are not only slamming or questioning me but a board of respected people, so you may want to stop. None of us take a salary it is all donated time, by giving people for the cause of helping these families.

www.carsevents.com watch the video, we are trying to get it updated for the beginning of 2015, but it is a donated work by another supporter.

I have witnessed first hand how you manage your affairs and you act as if you are superior to anyone that you come in contact with. Saying that you are "pathetic" gives you too much credit in my book. You also have a serious problem when it comes to telling the truth, dealing with others and the only thing bigger than your ego is the list of failures that pertains to you managing or being affiliated with a racing series. Good luck with your event!

Rick, I know you've been asked that question in the past. You answered it then and you answered it in the first reply you gave here. It's obvious that a few people do not like you for whatever reason. I've been to your event in the past and I've seen the families you have helped. I think its a great thing your doing. Don't let the ranting a few discourage you. Florida racing needs more people like you. It certainly doesn't need more like Groundpounder and Nathan.

Some people get tired of Ricks Holier Than Thou approach to people.

He has Damned my soul, and sent me to the fiery pits of hell, more times than I can count.

It doesn't help when claiming on one hand that he does all this out of the good of his heart (which I DO commend him for), and at the same time his math shows $2500 in "operating expenses"

When faced with a legitimate question about where the donations go, Rick chose the "how dare you question me & my integrity" defense.

I become verrrry wary of those that solicit donations, yet jump down throats when asked how it will be dispersed.

It's not about whether you like Rick or not (how you can judge somebody you haven't met is beyond me). It's not about if you are a person of faith or not. It's about the overall good that gets done and I commend Rick highly (as do the majority of people who commend what he does that are not posting). That's $160,000 for families of sick children that is a direct result of what Rick does. All this while putting on a pretty cool event that doesn't cost as much as most weekly shows. If Rick wants to buy coke and hot dogs for the people who volunteer or whatever, I could give a rat's ass if that comes out of the bottom line. Rick is not a multinational conglomerate like McDonald's that can absorb the costs (and get a healthy write off too, I'm sure). If you don't like Rick as a track or series manager than that's a different issue that shouldn't be mixed with his charity work. Remember, Rick is the ONLY guy putting on a 100% charity race event in FL. Rick sacrifices his personal time and energy into this. Instead of attacking and scrutinizing him (all of the financial info is on his website, btw) why don't the naysayers get up off their asses and be a part of the good that comes from his event and simply attend it. You don't have to like Rick's personalty to see the good he is doing. Keep up the good work Rick. The overwhelming silent majority appreciate it.

Wow is is amazing how crazy a post to let folks know the needs gets slammed

Groundpounder, I answered the question, and the way you posted the question tries to imply something. If you say you were not just trying to stir things your would be the one telling a lie. Florian does nothing but cause trouble on this board, other boards and just in his general way of life. As I posted he is like a cancer eating away at racing. Most everyone that has dealt with him knows that, even his own relative has stated it. I know he will say I am liar..haha, but it is true.

When people keep challenging and posting things ike this on your posts as you try to do things in racing or a chrity event, it gets old and will make many folks mad.

Frasson, sir I have not comdemned you to hell, you sir would do that with the choice to not believe and except Christ as your savior, that is according to the Bible the way you do not go to heaven. Trusting in him and what he did on the cross for the world and asking him to save you is what it takes to not go to hell. You made clear to me you do not believe in God, so then your fate is decided by you not me. I am not holier than anyone sir, but I do not go around slamming people and trying to shed a bad light on anyone. But when they do it to me I am not going to just sit here and take it without defense.

Here is the real truth........If groundpounder (if I knew who he was), Florian as mad as he makes me, and as much as he slams me or you sir needed help becuase you or someone in your family came down with cancer, or other diseases and need my help, our charity help. If you wanted prayers and help or to talk I would be there, would do all I could. I do not hold grudges and I care about people but I also do not like being slammed and made out to be someone I am not. If any of you wanted to talk face to face instead of behind this key board and made up names I would be all for it. You may be able to judge things a whole lot differently.

I apologize if I got to defensive to Groundpounder, I did try to answer the question. I have tried to talk and work with Florian before, that does not work, many have found that out and he continues to slam me. Actually Frass you and I had some good conversations at New Smyrna at your modified reunion which I enjoyed and think is a cool deal and you came and enjoyed the charity race and talked to me. Having opinion is one thing always bashing is another. I work hard to try to help racing, I care and I do not make money at it. I do not make money doing this charity foundation, I pay myself 1 weeks salary because I loose a weeks pay the week leading up to the event cause I am usually out of vacation and sick days. Other than that it is volunteer. I know charities are not all using funds properly but I and the board people know we do all we can to keep costs down and give more to the families. That is all I can say you all will only believe or except what you want to.

You do great work Rick, and I mean that.

I would like to point out to you however that it is "accept" not "except". As in Frasson does presently and currently except Christ, but in your way of thinking he needs to "accept" Christ to get to heaven.

Just keeping it real, I believe it is insanity to try to tell someone how they should, or could, get to "Heaven", but I realize I'm the wacko and me and my God are good with that.
Though I'm pretty sure that if you're right Jerry is definitely going to burn for eternity, cuz he's bad.

                    Reply to Lurkin

Yeah I was typing that on my small phone at work in the bathroom trying to hide that is was posting things..ha ha so I spelled incorrect under pressure and fumes .

I was not telling what I say, just what the bible says about how you get to heaven but I do believe that and know the relationship in my life, it is of course a persons individual decision. I do not however like to make a joke on that because it is actually a serious matter, some will just find out to late. I don't want that for anyone.

Thanks for trying to keep it lite hearted ..ha ha

                        Groundpounder.....

I didnt play any christian card........I said who I am. You all jumped on a post that I have done for 9 years now trying to help these families. Before that I help 15 go-kart fundraising events that raised over $80,000 for childrens homes for kids abused and abandoned one of which I spent a year of my life in. I have been raising money to help others for over 25 years. I have served in church ministries for over 25 years as well. I have worked with children, teens, seniors and assistant to the pastor and been a member of the churhes served in and I am currently being considered to Pastor a church. I do not have an anger issue except wiht people who like to stir up stuff, jump on people threads just to cause issues. I did apologize but explained also and you sir will do with that what you want.

I would be happy to explain all we do and how we do it to you if you want to call me 407-497-0448 or meet me instead of this board and post. But a brief descrition is this. The funds we have givne families has paid to keep them from losing homes, get transportation so they can get back and forth to treatments, flights for treatments, paid medical bills, bought food, paid to keep electric on because these people are usually unable to have two people working while trying to take care of the kids or themselves. Sometimes we buy gas cards, give them money for a small Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Talk to people who have been to the events, seen it in action, have seen the families and met them and cared for them. To try to put me with these big charity foundations that have offices, cars, paid personel is not even close to fair. My family started it I work in my little office in my house do not get paid, and I have other board members who meet and help and volunteer at the events. We pay the bills needed to hold the events, the money raised is then devided except for a portion to operate on. Pay for website, pay filing charges, supplies needed to make flyers, printing etc. The funds are distributed in various ways to the families depending on the need during the year but the lump sum is done after our event before the end of the year, so we can then bvegin to work on the new year. We get nominated families on line, from others we have helped or even the a lady that works at Shands hospital. Anyone that really know me, knows the event, knows we do all we can and care for people. I am not a perfect person, but forgiven by God in his mercy and grace, but I am real and I am who I am. but you cant know me from behind a keyboard ..... and make assumptions......well I guess you can. Listen is you dont feel comfortable, then do not give your dime. But please also don't jump on my posts for help to people who have seen and supported this event for 8 years now..... this was just a way to let them know what was still needed. If we can not cover the bills or at least most of them we have to then cut some things. When you ask how much or the percentage goes to the familes, it is hard to answer except that if they are sponsoring and getting tickets, announcements, names on shirts, PA spots, ads in programs then that is part of what they get. But if we pay all the bills and are able to take in more than they all gave to pay bills then I guess 100% of it goes to the families when you think about it.

Well there it is.....you have to do what you want from there.
Again if you really want to meet me, talk about it out from behind a keyboard you can see how to reach me. Thanks

I lost the sponsor because they have had a tough year and are not in the position to do it this year, but have been a great sponsor for the last several years and it is not because of any issues.
