The “Central Florida Wingless Sprints” return to the World Famous Orlando Speed World on Friday, August 8th for a makeup race. Kenny Dukes of “Dukes Roofing of Tampa” has stepped up and will add $125 to the purse for each winner of the “Heat Races“. $50 will also be awarded to the first “Torsion Bar” car to cross the finish line. (Note: If a torsion bar car wins the heat race their total would be $125.00. They would not be eligible for the $50 T-Bar Car bonus.

Clean Sweep Bonus: Also if the winner of the heat race wins the feature race an extra $50.00 will be paid to the winner.

Note: To be eligible for these cash bonuses all winning cars must display “Dukes Roofing” decals to qualify for the bonus bucks. Decals can be reserved by calling Mike and Carla Rudolph at 813-621-1549 and can be picked up at the track race day.

So let's say it's the last lap, the top four cars all tangle coming out of turn four, cars are everywhere, as are broken car parts. The guy (or girl, to be fair) in the wrecked third place car unstraps, gets out, picks up a torsion bar and runs across the finish line. Does that driver then win the extra Dukes Roofing money?
