  • Another way of thinking!!!!

my comments will go against everything we have believed in and tried to do. Perhaps we are thinking wrong!!!
Our goal has been to save every track! is it better to keep supporting one or 2 that give racing a bad name. is it better to get nothing but negative energy from 1 or 2 tracks or just let them self destruct. then when we no longer have to deal with the clouds...the sun can shine thru once again.... the other tracks will have more time and more drivers AND more fans!
we have alot of race tracks in florida. i think we should give all our support to the tracks that support racing and draw crowds!!! we dont need to sit for hours and watch 5 or 6 cars race...we dont need to be insulted and prices will be better if the stands are full all the time. how many kitchens does a house have to have? keep the one that has all your needs and get rid of the disfunctional ones. all they do is take up time and space & money!!
Am i wrong.??? probably...hahaha just had too much coffee and brain in overdrive!

    CAROL I"M WORRIED ABOUT YOU!
Your starting to sound like me and thats not good!!!!
I saw this train wreck coming all the way from Baghdad!!
Actually lets look at it this way... We are all learning what not to do..
It's that was he thinking type of lesson in life...
Besides racing were getting a lesson in life on:
How not to run a track.
    How not to treat people.
How not to run a buisness.

AS I SAID BEFORE LET YOUR ACTIONS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!!!!

I'm thinking this way... the 2 biggest offenders of how NOT to run a racetrack are, unfortunately, in the same REGION of Florida (John S & Rex Guy). If A-Dale crashes & burns because of poor management, where will the drivers and fans go? Desoto... and get treated just as badly, possibly worse? It's not like you can go down the street to a different Wal-Mart or McDonalds in that situation. If those tracks fell apart, so would an entire region of the state. Desoto to Charlotte County isn't a huge travel, but where do A-Dale people go?

          roflllll

now you're thinking. actually Frassy. i was kiddin. i dont want any track to close. i want things to get better... i dont want anyone to fail... it is wrong to wish bad things on other people..... i think it would be so good if all of this negative stuff stopped and everyone tried to get back on TRACK! Maybe it isnt a good idea to joke around on here. people cant see ya smilin! but just for the record... i dont want that...

I think the solution is to get some one other than John or Rex to run Desoto and A'dale for them. I can't say much about A'dale I haven't been there in years but Desoto is one of the best facilitys in the state. The track is a little rough but that can be fixed. The fact that the UDLMCS draws an average of 48 cars attests to the fact that its not the economy thats effecting all the car counts. The drivers of the UDLMCS travel an awful long way to race with us. One of the drivers we interviewed at VSP said I think that it cost $1000 to get his car to the races and get it on the track. I guess thats fuel, tires and every thing. Bob....

you know most of us who drive and own cars are not in this sport for money its a love like no other money means nothing it respect and when thats invaded we buck up like wild horses rex did a foolish thing in this case and john quite a few but if it was a prefect world i would beable to race anywhere in the us in whatever class i chose to build a car its not so we all keep suffering cause we love our sport and just want to race i thank all the fans ,racers who come to a local short track i hope im able to show my grand children(hopefully not soon) what this sports means. and thank all of you on this board that express your feelings keep it real and support those who support us

                math? I don't wanna know....

last weekend I left the shop, stopped at the gas station filled up the truck with 87 octane and the race car and a 5 gallon jug with 93 octane, bought a few bags of ice, a bag of chips but had plenty of stuff (sodas and waters)in the cooler from the week before. As I drove down the road I realized I had just dropped $247.00 just to get to the races....... once there I wrote a check for another 70 bucks at the gate for the pit entrance/slab fee.... woke up sunday morning with about 60 bucks in my pocket but man did I have FUN!!!!!! and next weekend???? We'll do it again!!!!!!!
