  • Need brake help...

Looking to find a manual brake master cylinder for my 1976 malibu. After checking with the local parts warehouses I have found out that the master cylinder I have been using is discontinued.

Any one know where have any suggestions on what I can use??

This is a front disc brake rear drum brake car. Not sure if the corvette part would work since that is a 4 wheel disc.

Anyone know how that would work out?

Speedway has a lot of that older stuff. I bet they have it.

Thanks for the heads up on O'reillys. Stopped by there this afternoon and ordered the master cylinder I wanted, they said it was available and would have it tomorrow.

              Randy, You are certainly welcome.

If it is legal a proportioning valve may let you fine tune the front-to-rear percentages.

I have used one from "inline tube"
