50 lap pro race format idea

Went to pensacola last night with Ray black for the first time this year for there 50 lap races there they run a 20 lap race and a 30 lap race pay separate points and divide the purse up. The over all pay out is the same just split. We ran almost all of these races last year and then last night the first race is started straight up from qualifying then the second race is a complete inversion of all lead lap cars. You have to run same tires in both races but can work on car in between. This has been the most fun we have had with the limited car it has made for great exciting racing and quite a few different winners. I think this concept would work at all the tracks here in central fl and give the fans some more excitement. Just an idea from somebody that has gone and been a participant in these race.

I was there. Being from S Fla originally I took notice when they said you guys were from Ocala so I kind of watched your driver. I liked his style! He raced really hard but clean all night.

I totally agree whoever came up with that format is pretty smart. Kind of a ballsy move by the track to do something different like that but it makes it interesting for sure. It was a great show.

Did you see the deal with the 5 and 14? I was watching from the turn 4 grandstand and should have had a great view bit I wasn't looking...in fact I may have been looking at your guy as he was charging the whole race and it was hard to not just watch him :-)

Not really I was spotting and when the wreck happened we were side by side with the 88 and I called caution for the wreck which never came out because it was the final lap and ray cked up which let the 129 get a run on us so in the end we were fighting for the win but took for granted the caution would fly. What a great time though. And the invert for the second race was 14

Yeah that whole Green/Yellow thing was weird and I've never seen 5 Flags do that. I also thought the yellow would come out.
