  • Bryan K. Wescott, Sr. Memorial Race 8/30/14 – Lap Sponsors

    We are currently offering laps for sponsorship / sale for this very worth-while 103-lap event. The cost is very affordable at $20.00 per lap. For the money you will be put on the Lap Sponsor Page listed in the Memorial Program for this special event. Lap Sponsors will also be recognized and announced over the loud speakers throughout the event that evening.

    Laps will be sold through me only on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can call or text me at my cell #727-224-6180 or email me at rookie_4@tampabay.rr.com. Most folks are paying by check but I also have a PayPal account setup for your convenience.

    You can post your preferences on this board or on the Facebook Event Page but please understand your lap won’t be reserved until I communicate with you directly by phone, text, email or PM to work out all details.

    All reserved lap information & updates will be posted on this thread as well as the Facebook Event page I have created here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1498425980393479/

    Almost 25% of the laps are confirmed so far but we still have a ways to go.

    Here is an updated list of confirmed lap sponsors as of 8:00 PM Monday 7/07/14 –

      OK folks I’ve had an overwhelming outpouring of support today for my request for lap sponsorship for this very worth-while cause. In fact, those of you that are still thinking about getting up off your wallets better hurry b/c by my count we have only 7-laps left and again they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The latest tally as of 7:00 PM Tuesday, 7/08/14 is as follows;

      Everyone that has committed lap money PLEASE check the way I have your sponsorship(s) listed to make sure the wording is as you want it. Vicky Delacruz – your family has purchased 16-laps with different verbiage requested on many of them so please check with the boys and make sure I have them the way they want them. Email or PM me with any changes please.

      THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR THIS AWESOME SHOW OF SUPPORT FOR THIS GREAT YOUNG MAN THAT WAS TAKEN FROM US WAY TOO EARLY!

                    Jim, can we please change that to:

                    "Lap #12 - In Memory of Bryan Wescott (driver of #12, #III, and #XII Late Model) and Bob Kirk, car owner"?

                    Thanks.

                    Will get $$ to you by end of week.

                      Only one thing to do:

                      Increase the event length to 203 laps!

                      Great job.

                        Jimmy – I’ve changed your description per your request on my end that will be submitted to the printer. However some of these requests have turned out to be somewhat of a novel for 1-line so I’ve asked everyone to keep them as short as possible. Point being I’m submitting them as requested by the sponsor, just not sure if they will have this much room in the program entry.

                        Thanks again to everyone that supported this effort!

                              ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE THAT MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE LAP SPONSORSHIPS AND STILL WANTED TO SUPPORT THIS GREAT EVENT.

                              OR FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE COVERAGE OF THIS EVENT TO ADVERTISE YOUR COMPANY HERE’S YOUR CHANCE!

                              The Speedway is offering two ways to do this;

                              One – the speedway is offering purse sponsorships from P5 through P13. For $200 per position #5 through #13 the position will be advertised in your name or the name of your firm in the program and that name will also appear on the check paid to the driver who finishes in that position. Your name will also be announced during the event over the PA system as the sponsor for that particular position.

                              Two – Advertise in the special event program for this event. Cost for advertising is; Full Page: $400 (back page already taken), ½-Page: $250, Business Card Size: $75.00. These special event programs will be free to everyone in attendance so you won’t have to worry about the lack of coverage due to the track charging for them because they are not. These programs will be handed out for free to everyone that come through the gate!

                              The down side here is that we’re short on time. We must have all detail submitted to the printer by August 15th in order for him to make the 30th deadline so basically we only have two more weeks.

                              I want to be sure and say THANK YOU to those that have already contributed to the lap sponsorship and hope that some of you might consider additional support through one of these methods.

                              Again for those that missed the lap sponsorship offer due to their selling out so quickly and have inquired as to any other method of support here’s your chance!

                              If you would like to take advantage of any of these methods please contact me either by replying by email at rookie_4@tampabay.rr.com call or text me at #727-224-6180.

                              On behalf of Robert Yoho, Showtime Speedway and the Wescott family I thank you in advance for your consideration.
