Took my fourth trip of the year to the Dale. This is a track that goes all out to get the show in. Rain before the race delayed the start 1 hour. Track management made the decision to run features only, as well as cancel intermissions and on track activities which was a good thing as the 100 lapper ended on lap 95 with heavy rain hitting. Unofficial until tech, #30 Jesse Dutilley wins with Daniel Webster #33 second followed by Brandon Duchscher (sp) #177 finishing 3rd. 13 Late Models on hand. Jake Perkins started on pole left the race during a lap 3 caution. From that point on it was Dutilleys night all the way. Mike Garvey #1 and #42 Jonathan Guy got together on lap 95 bringing out the final caution. Would have been a great re-start between Dutilley & Webster for a five lap shoot-out but #42 Guy had either a hard time finding his spot or he wasn't being let into position after the caution and enough time was passed by to allow the light sprinkle turn into a down pour bringing out the red & checkers. All in all pretty good race. 8 cars finished. David Rogers also on hand in the #11. Race had 4 cautions. All other divisions had some good racing....I think A'Dale has the best hot dog and fries. Pretty good eating !!! See you at the races...

Follow-up for 6-21-14 at A'Dale - Page 2
continue: I would personally like to thank all the support division drivers for putting on some great racing. It's really too bad the track announcer can not be heard as in my four trips there I have only become acquainted with about ten-12 names of the 65 plus cars I have seen in the support classes. When the TBARA was there and now again last night with the late model portion of the show, when different announcers came aboard for their part of the show, you could hear them clearly,so it is not the PA system. Last nights late model announcer, who I have heard before but cannot attach a name to the voice, did a great job keeping fans informed and letting us know who was who. So I say thanks to the many drivers I have seen at A'Dale but have no idea of their names. Unofficial support winners last night before tech were: V8's James Wright #56, Mini' #5 Tony Davidson, Street Stock #4 Marilyn McCrary with #48 Dora Thorne coming thru the field for second. I believe the Scramblers were rained out. I apologize if there were driver changes but once again I could not hear the regular announcer. Maybe a change in his announcing style would add to the fan experience. Kudos to the staff as they are some of the friendliest I have seen at race tracks.....Great food !!!.
