Attention all Sportsman Drivers !!!!
As we begin the gearing up for this years charity race we are making a change to what was originally announced. After Joey and I looked at the plans for Late Models to be apart, and while we hope to do this in the future, things were not falling in line to make that happen with a purse that would attract the top drivers. With our time winding down to when we announce and begin the pre-entry process for July 1st. we our going to change from Late Models and we want to invite the Sportsman drivers to race a 100 lapper as part of the Charity weekend. The full purse will be posted very soon but it will pay $1500 minimum to win and $150 minimum to start. We will sell laps and add to the purse as we do the trucks. We will announce the rules package as well on or before July 1st. We had 11 show up last year on short notice and appreciated that, we are hoping to have a strong count with this long to promote and build the excitement. The starting field for both trucks and sportman will consist of 20 starters. 16 lock in from qualifying, top 4 from last chance race or races will fill out the field. Sportsman drivers please spread the word ! Thanks !
