  • Bump and Run perfection!

Probably one of the most well executed bump and run moves you will ever see for a win! This snapped a 4 race win streak for the driver of the 18 also. I always have people messaging me or posting on these posts asking for more supporting division action... THIS ONE'S FOR YOU GUYS!!! WHAT A SHOW!!!

too bad this has become acceptable driving.
lets all take a long ride on a short bus.

I quit fishing because no one was standing at the docks handing out money when i got back, why did you quit racing?

What do you mean HAS become? lol!!! It has been like this for many many years at many tracks across the country covering all divisions, series and sanctioning bodies... Race how you want to be raced... Watch the whole video, the 75 was moved by the 18 early on and he didn't forget it.

That is as good a super stock race as you will ever see.......

That is also as good of replay/production you will ever see at a short track/weekly event.....that is incredible....is that done every week?

Where is Waterford? Great 2 groove track with 20 cars. Those guys were having fun, racers, fans, workers and video guy.

The 23 got what he started.....drove in way over his head when he lost the lead...turned a guy and then ended up taking the hardest hit....

I have know issue with what the 75 did there....he was in complete control, didn't door slam or turn the 18, and made a good , fair racing move. The 18 even agreed, probably not real happy but took it and moved on......

Waterford is on the Connecticut shoreline just north of the U.S. Navy subbase there. It is a great little two groove 1/3 mile oval that has ALWAYS had a reputation for wild action. I have raced there quite a bit and it was always exciting. There are few racetracks, like The 'Bowl, where there's always a lane to run in. Blockin' you on the bottom? No problem, just go around 'em on the high side!

While the 18 car may have had it coming , that is not a good racing move. Anytime you hit someone entering the corner you are a dirtbag in my book. A true bump and run takes place on exit of corner when cars are settled. I can knock someone out with my street car on entry no talent there.

Fred, we do productions every week from Waterford and also when Thompson runs their events 7 times per year now (hearing 5 next year ) You can check out what we do at the Facebook and Website links I provided above.

I do enjoy Imhere saying the 75 is a dirtbag though... The 18 has won 6 out of 8 races this year so far and loves to use the bumper. You get what you give So I guess Earnhardt, and Johnson and Gordon and Mayfield and how many others are all dirtbags? Yup

I can't say i'm a fan of bump and run, i've seen too many excellent drives ended by a second place driver who didn't have the skills to win any other way. I know it's become accepted on the last lap, but i think it cheapens the sport overall.

I get some guys don't like it. But doesn't make anyone less of a racer. They just wanted it more. These guys are both great friends off track. Honestly, I'd move any one of you out of the way for a win if I had the opportunity and would expect the same in return. Now, if he had wrecked the 18... Yeah, different story.

Either way, for those of you who like non contact racing

Here is our SK video from this past Saturday

Imagine that... SK's being "clean" at the bowl for the most part lol

Well Phil....you do a hell of a job ......the in car looks and the wall cam on the back stretch are great.....3 different angles of most "incidents"......

SO do you sell the weekly video's??? Do it for the track? Ever thought of doing a local TV show with those? You do really good work.

How late in the year does the Bowl race? I may be up that way late in the summer. May have to make a trip.

Like I said earlier.....I have no problem with the 75 because he did it the right way. That track is obviously tough to just drive around someone, especially the leader.....The 18 probably expected it and I am sure has done the same thing. He wasn't afraid to lean on cars when he needed to earlier in the race.

Orlando used to look like that.....15-20 cars....two/three wide racing......maybe someday!

Hey Fred, the Bowl runs every Saturday night until early October (Weds. too!). Go check out a race then head over to nearby Mohegan Sun Casino for more fun after! Also go to youtube.com and search "Sid's View" for all the videos from those guys. Also search "Sean Foster Short Track Racer" for some good coverage of nearby Stafford Speedway Modified Racing too. Enjoy!

I am only one of the cameramen for this. We are a 4 person crew comprised of 3 racers in myself, Brent Gleason and our main camera man Jesse Gleason along with life long Speedbowl fan and historian Tom "Sid" Dimaggio. Sid is the one doing commentary that you sometimes see talking to the camera in the videos. We are the guys behind the scenes but I feel like because I lived in FL 14 years and plan to be back soon, and knowing that there are so many former New Englanders as well as general fans of great racing that it is worth sharing our product with you all. We really appreciate the kind words. It's a fairly grassroots operation but it's based around fun and bringing the action from a fans point of view. We only recently added the back stretch camera and all the in car stuff in the past couple of years.

Sid does sell the weekly videos in DVD, he also sells full race raw footage.

The bowl runs all the way into the first weekend of October.

The 18 is notorious for bump and runs, so it was nice to see him get back what he gives finally. It's a two way street, like I said earlier. Race as you want to be raced. That's my motto... a couple have found that out the hard way already

That had the hair standing up on my arms.

I'd turn him right into the wall hard Hialeah style and get it back. I have a cure for guys like that. I bet he wouldn't steal it like that from me again...at least not with that car. :-)
