Doug and Wendy, along with the entire crew, can be very proud of what they've accomplished at VSP. They went from a shuttered, weed covered race track to one of the top tracks in Florida.

Tim Powers from Okeechobee. I guess he prefers to tow upstate where there's more competition as I've noticed he runs at Ocala regularly. rather than Hendry right in his back yard. Good racer.

Powers put on quite a show. I'm pretty sure he was one of the cars that came from Ocalas rain out. He started either 20th, 21st or 22nd, and flat out-drove the field in front of him. Saw him pull several cross-over moves that picked him up 2-3 cars at a time.
