How the hell did THAT happen? That thing sounded sweet when he took the checkered in the heat.

But then again, he was NOT in the Dash race for Top 5 Quals.

Dash winner is Fitzgerald after a nice side by side with Mills for a couple laps.

Whitener gets 3rd over Nosbisch & Van Sickle.

Hobby Stocks start 22 cars. Some good cars in this pack.

What a wild show so far in this one. Donnie Ashford took the early lead, but behind him has been outstanding. A #44 car that wasn't here earlier (Tim Powers..?) has been smoking it from 20th to 3rd... So far.

Restart now with 4 to go.
        Ashford
        Christian
        Powers

Powers takes 2nd. 2 to go
        Ashford
        Powers
        ???
        Christian
        Chad Scranton

        Damn good race right there....!!!

Good move on the tracks part right now. They've moved the Late Models up to 'next' and are skipping on-track interviews for the moment to KEEP THE SHOW MOVING.

So far, even with the rain delay, these folks have done just about everything right to keep it moving & and get this show in.

These guys have the right attitude..... 'Let's race'

Too many places don't even TRY.

Pretty furious race so far. Lapped traffic makes for great action, but it got Padgett in trouble trying to lap Shugart. Padgett spins, Bo Allen has to spin to avoid.
Restart coming. Tyler Ivey on front row alone with the Delaware Restarts.

Carter Stokes, billed as a Richard Chilldress Developement
Driver is now in the top 5. To be honest, I hadn't been impressed with him before.... lets see.

The Catfish, Keith Nosbisch, went straight to the low lane, and straight to a straightaway lead. So far, he's the only one that has this figured out. Well see on this restart if anyone noticed how he did it.

Stokes & Childress HP are in 3rd, running down Whitener.
Nosbisch still making it look easy

Don't know why.... Announcer too busy with sponsor mentions.

Stokes fading. Ivey fading. Clegg coming on. Give 5th to Clegg.

Chappell breaks, brings out the caution

On the restart, Whitener blasts underneath Nosbisch for a lead change.... It only lasts a few seconds when Nisbisch takes it back.

About 5 to go, lapped cars are in Keith's way, and Whitener blows by.

Classic race, where one car is commited to the bottom, and the other hammering the cushion.

Whitener wins by a few car lengths, but Nosbisch sure kept it interesting.

                            Whitener
                            Keith Nosbisch
                            David Clegg
                            Stanton Mills
                            Bo Allen

I've already gotten $25 worth of fun, but only paid $15 to do it.

And there's STILL a Thunder Stock race coming on....!

As strictly a race FAN...... this place can't be beat in Fla.!

That explains something that I never heard mentioned (speakers in turn 2 SUCK).

The 07 car was fast all night, and at 1 point I did hear Ivedents name, but never connected the dots that he was in Cleggs car. Lloyd has spent a lot of time behind the wheel of that car..... but didn't realize it happened tonight with a driver change.
