    Slabs

Sounds like a great show, but the one thing that stands out the most to me is "Pit Parking Slab are FREE, NEVER a charge at Showtime Speedway" I have never understood how a track charges a driver or owner $30 to get in the pits and then charges another 5 or 10 dollars to park on a concrete slab that has been there for over 30 years. Way to go Yoho and Rick!!

Just another way to bleed the racer. The one's that put on the show.

I like the concept. They have an oval & drag strip.... getting even a few crossovers from each side would be progress.

Kinda reminds me of the old Lakeland 1/4 mile track. If you grabbed a top row seat at the oval track, you could still watch drag racing by turning your head. Either ahead of you, or behind you, there was something to check out.

Traveled across the state to check out one of the big OWM shows last year, one of the best races I have seen in Fl.

                Kendo,

Found a DOT doc online that indicates the current lease runs to 2017.

But it is publicly "owned", so...

I heard that Brian Finney was coming over to take the money on the west coast and run several different cars and classes ?

                    Modifieids 6/14

Who all is going to compete this weekend. 50 Lap event paying $1200.00 to win, and $250 to start.

I will be trying to calling the drivers on Wednesday.

Should be a great turnout this weekend. We needed up with 18 Super Late Models this past weekend, so let see if we can beat that count this weekend.

Hope to see everyone this weekend.
