Citrus County Practice Canceled for tonight …monitoring weather for tomorrow !

Due to some showers already and 60% chance of afternoon & evening thunderstorms practice for tonight will be canceled. There is a 50% chance as of now for strong afternoon storms for Saturday, We are going to monitor the weather and make a decision and call by 9 a.m. in the morning on tomorrows racing. I have never seen a racetrack so anxious to cancel so early...in Fl during the summer there is always a chance of rain, hit and miss...tracks do dry off...life has it's risks...

How about you tell us what it means ? Gary is actually just looking to try to allow people to know ahead and the forecast shows the rain to hit at wrong times, but will watch to see. It costs everyone when there is money spent, time waiting around and gas burned to get there. So far the calls have been right how about giving credit for that being proactive on trying to make best decision for everyone is all that is being done. Once again folks will think and say what they want of course.
