As long as your car fits the rules, bring it ON. Why in the HELL would a track owner/promoter chase away cars that supported him? He should welcome each and every car that rolls through the gates, treat them ALL equally, and ask them to return any time they'd like.
This guy (Guy) still has a thing or two to learn about this sport. One of them is appreciation for any and all that support him, even if they may have helped support other tracks as well.

Two tracks in one night
I remember Jr. Handley won the feature Sunday afternoon at Mt.Clemens Racetrack, north of Detroit, Mich. Then loaded up and went to Heidelberg Racetrack, by Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and won the feature there Sunday Night.
Remember Jr. came from Toronto Canada.
He went all around Lake Erie, over 800 miles.

Why Not?
What would be the reason for not letting cars come to race at a second track on the same evening/day (unless the track can't figure out the "Buy Tires/Fuel/Pad Thing").
If a car owner/driver can make it to a second track to race.. so be it.. its a win win for everyone involved. (perhaps the track can do a split payoff instead of Tires/Fuel/Pad thing).
I remember many nights cars (Owners, Drivers, Crews and sometimes Fans) going to/from Sunshine/Bradenton in the same night... sometimes, just in time for a feature where they would run scratch, NO HARM - NO FOUL. That was more dollars for the track from the gates.
As JIMBO said above, with the situation we have these days... every car, fan, crew member etc, makes for a better show and overall take on the gates.
People shouldn't let stupid get in the way of what's right. BRING EM' ON and LET's RACE.

was it a mistake Rex?
my feelings are that perhaps by now Rex might realize he made a mistake. if so we need to give him a chance to correct it and make things right with Aaron... If not well....we will welcome his drivers with open arms at CCMP and treat them the way they should be treated... with respect!
Too bad Rex was "out of town"...would have been better to hear from the man himself. Thank you to his brother-in-law Rob for being on the show... is only fair to give both sides a chance to explain..i'm sure it wasnt easy for you to have to answer on Rex's behalf.
no matter how you look at the situation, i feel it is yet another black mark for Florida short track racing. things are bad enough without turning drivers away.
but fear not... one mans trash is another man's treasure and I treasure all of our Florida racers!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

racing two tracks one night
i have never heard so much bull shi-- in my life i have raced for over fifty years ever track in florida dirt asphalt ga -ala miss tx to new jersey . and i have never heard so much crap . i also raced at auburndale and have seen many owners come and go and i taklking over 25-30 years and my son raced there also .
and we have raced at charlotte county took latemodel sports man and open wheel modified down there got off work late called track spoke to bobby diel he reserved two 80 foot parking spots for us met us at gate and treated us like we were appericated and has welcomed us ever time we have ever came there had one problem once he took care of it right then the man runs a great race track
now arron williamson i know for a fact is a first class act and is probably one of the best drivers that auburndale has ever had come out of that place the race track ought to appericate having a driver like him race at there track
i listen to the inside florida racing today and due to our job we have five race cars but we can't get much time to race -- now i know the gear is a little different from auburndale than charlotte county . but i would still bet arron probably would have won from the rear if they would have let him race that's probably why they did not let him race
back in day we have race 3 tracks in one day and many times got rained out at gate and took off to inverness - or another track . and ran sunshine . gate - and desota in figure eight in same night and no body say any thing
i ain't knockin auburndale but last time we raced modified there there could not have been over 50 people in stands so i would be very careful running any body off espically your top drivers like arron williamson cause ever time i have been there weather it was in super late model or what ever he won that kid is going some were i think some one needs to call him and make an apology i would put it on front page of lakeland ledger .
before he becomes the star at charlotte county speedway what would you do if you did not have any arron williamsons racin at auburndale grow tomotoes plant garden

I remember Desoto getting rained out and the track called A-dale to let them know a bunch of car were heading that way and they rearranged the features to allow the cars a little more time to get there. Once Sunshine ran a LCQ race and put all of the drivers that were there in it and added the cars that came in from A-dale at the back and added a few spots to the feature for them.

Hey Rick.. Was just perusing the website www.auburndalespeedway.com and I didn't find that yet.. I did pull up the rules and they state on page 4 under general rules that "Any late arrivals must check in
with the Pit Director. Late arrivals (after 6:00) are subject to start in rear."
http://www.auburndalespeedway.com/ru...06%20rules.pdf
Funny thing I may be on the wrong site but hey... Check it out...

Funny thing... I am sitting here listening to the Inside Florida Racing show and going through the website that you listed... This is one example of a poor website for a track... I have gone through the entire site and not found the rules for the racing divisions... Funny thing that they aren't made public for other people so if there might be any interest to become a driver there.. I have a feeling though after this incident that new drivers are going to be few and far between...
Honestly listening to this interview the management has no clue as to how to run a track and to attract new drivers... I truly hope that Auburndale Speedway will survive this disaster... Still today, some operators/owners have no clue that the drivers are what brings in the fans and that is what pays the bills... And rules that effect drivers in such a staggering way need to be voted on by the entire field... Not just made up in a brief glimmer of outward and utter stupidity...

Can't believe that this is even opened up to a poll.
Some thirty years ago, on a very late Fri. night, or even a Sunday afternoon racing matinee', as Frass118/Binn sort-of talked about, there were several times when my local short track was violated by late arrivals, and man-oh-man, we welcomed such visits from "foreigners". Hell, they made the trip from Michigan, Ohio, and even Illinois--open arms all the way around.
And the announcer would whip the stands into a frenzy, about some calls from some other drivers on a bee-line to here to make the feature event.
And yes, we watched from the top of the bleachers, looking over the corn rows, dirt roads, Turnpike and pit entrance, anticipating the arrivals.
And who would show up? Why, it was none other than Randy Sweet, Joy Fair, Dick Trickle and Ed Howe.
The place went into a frenzied storm. God, those were some good times, to hear the announcer scream that so-and-so was now entering the Facility, with their race cars still running and warming up on the back of their open haulers, so as to warm up even before they came from the next State over.
And everyone walked away, including myself, just buzzing.
And that happened on more than three occasions.
I think that those were some of the best times in local short-track racing.
If my memory serves me correctly, the last time that those happening occured, the Tech Guys lowered the boom, and DQ'd them after the races, as they were probably illegal from the get-go, and from some resentment from the local Drivers.
