Way to go FASCAR

I think last night was the most people I've seen in the stands in along time for a regular night. Watching the stands from the pits looked like everyone was enjoying themselves and when I was getting in my car after winning the race FASCAR had the hole stands stumping there feet and claping to a song. Hopefully they can keep it up. Once again I think FASCAR did a great job last night.

Agreed, Skip. It looked like most everyone had a good time, provided they were not among those who crashed or broke. I had not run there for two years. Terry and his staff were very gracious and friendly.

Mark the announcer cracked me up toward the end of the show when I went over to the stands. He put on crowd-friendly music throughout the night that the fans really liked. At one point, I was looking at one of the concession vendors who was walking around selling stuff. My apologies for making fun of someone's appearance, but this was a geeky looking white guy with an afro. He got near the start finish line and Mark put on "Macho Man" by the Village People. Coincidence? I think not!

COngrats on the win last night... I have to admit it did seem like looking from the pits to the stands that there were a whole bunch of people enjoying themselves... Now if they can keep that up on a regular night with no Nascar on it would be great... With the economic situations these days dropping the grandstand entry to $10.00 (with lots of advertisement to that fact) would help the heck out of it I think...

What do you think of the other races last night everybody.. The car count was pretty darn good and the racing was good as well.... What about that Sportsman and Strictly Stock race?!?!

The worst part of it all is that I am really missing racing again whether it be a strictly or whatever... The itch is driving me nuts again...

I must say... even in my crippled state Saturday night... I had a blast... it was great to see some old faces and plenty of new ones there Saturday night...
