        My view of Saturday.

It was another wild ASA South race. It had a pretty good mix of the old and new with Butch Miller and Login Ruffin and Landon Cassill. Landon was very fast on stickers but would fall right off after 5 laps. Butch was consistanced all day around 8th fastest and what can I say about Logan. He rear cliped the car in the first round of practice on stickers. It took about 6hrs to repair it for qualifying. He smashed the front end on lap 1 while running 10. Choquette was fast on stickers but would fall off real fast also. Jeffery put the car in the wall during qualifying with heavey damage to the RF. He started last and drove a good race to get a top 10. His car wasn't right. Drew Brennon's car was fair during the day and put him in the right spot for the inversion. The pole. Blake Lehr was fast all day and ran 3rd almost night until Lang made it back up to the top three. He held off Landon Cassill in the final laps.

Dustin Dunn was in the top 10 all day and was the only car in the top 10 that didn't run stickers. He was involved in the 1st lap crash while running 12th. He had Logan starting right in front of him in 10th. He knew it was going to happen so he gave Logan about 3 car lenths going into turn 1 on lap 1. Coming out of 2 Logan and someone else spun. Dustin and Odell checked up ok, but Dustin and Odell got rear ended but about 5 cars with Blum on Dustin's roof. Dustin's rear spoiler was in his cockpit and knocked the air hose off his helmet. He lost both rear quarters panels, deck lid, spoiler, fuel filler and vent and bumper cover. Dustin got out of the car and did repairs to the filler and vent (I was in the spotters tower and it is just him and me) and with the help from some of Butch Millers crew he took the green on lap 2 with no rear body work, deck or spoiler and took the checkers in 17th. We are points racing and Odell and Dustin were 1 and 2 in the rookie standings going in and now the Dustin is 3rd with Odell 4th. Blake Lehr moves back into the lead with Justin Larson in 2nd. Things are heating up.

Top 10 all day?, crash on lap 1 , 10th place finisher run all 100 laps and and your car went 14 laps down after a lap 1 crash. WTF?! Am i missing something?

Just keep posting those practice times. It appears i've been determining the calibure of champion drivers the wrong way by noticing wins, top 5"s championships, all that mediocrity.

When all along i should have paid attention to practice.

Hey Benny, Sorry about that. That is my terminology. The day is for practice and the night is for racing. And yes we were in the to 10 all day. Don't try to read things that aren't in there. I was just giving my view of Saturday. Just like any other of my post. I could and did mention 10 other drivers along with my son and everybody will jump on what I said about my son and not say a word about anything else I said. What the hell is your problum. I was just trying to help. Your not. I knew that not many people from down in Fl. would be able to come and see the race so I thought that I would give them a birds eye view of the day and night.

If your only looking at the race results to see how well a driver is doing than your are not getting the whole story and oviously YOU don't want the whole story.

But hey, your good with everything else I wrote?

And you wonder why this place is a cemetery.

And another thing mr south....go back and read ya'lls analysis on go kart to late model.............................i read every work of every post without comment.

I think you are a little sour because of some of our other rants.

This one was meant to sound funny/smartass and as i said before i really didn't take the time to work it properly.

I did come off more as a bitter jab.

I wasn't at the race but my guys were.
One of them called the event F.U.B.A.R!
