Waycross speedway

I may go there on 5/17 to see the southern all star super late models. Have any of you ever been there? Or have seen these late models?

I've seen a handful of Southern All Star races, and haven't seen a bad one yet, and usually pretty good car counts. As for Waycross.... they used to have a reputation of being a no-passing track that gets as hard as asphalt. Maybe they have that part straightened out, as I haven't heard as many complaints about it in the last couple years like I did for 20 before that.

They replaced the oil soaked dirt with red clay a few years ago, took down a lot of fences, opened a new pit area outside of turn four, widened and reconfigured the track some. Much nicer than it was for years, IMO. IDK if they still race on Friday night or not.
