Some changes have been made to the schedule, so make sure you check the OSW web site for the latest updates...
One change that has been made is the Modifieds will now run on the same night as the Pro Trucks... These two classes will run both this week, 4/25 and next week 5/2...
Sportsman and Super Stocks will now run on the same night... ATTENTION SPORTSMAN!! Your next race night is 5/9 and a sponsor (who does not want to be identified) has posted $750 to win that night... Hopefully you Sportsman teams will make an effort to be there... So far this year we have been very pleased with the turnout for both Sportsman and Modifieds... very nice to see!
As of now, Legends, Bandoleros, Strictly Stocks and Four Cylinder Stocks will continue to race each week...
If anyone is looking to sponsor ANYTHING, please see myself or Butch Carr... Even if all you have is $10 or $25 or if you have $1,000 WE ARE INTERESTED and will put it somewhere and give you plenty of publicity too...
Another thing we are planning to do is run a final set of practice for all classes starting right after the driver's meeting... This will hopefully allow the teams who can't get there early a chance to get in some hot laps, plus we DO run heat races...
We are not going to hold weekly events in either July or August, but plan to run 3-4 "special" shows... We are toying with the idea of a LM race that will be pretty much "run whatcha brung" sorta like the old days at OSW back in the '80s... stay tuned for more...
