Rediculous... I'll be at Show Time to support the Larry Moyer Memorial race and the Show Time speedway for allowing the Southern Pro Am Truck Series to hold the race event.

Thank you Mr. Yoho for allowing us to get our first series race underway!

How is it ridiculous? Desoto had their race scheduled since December. Showtime is also wanting $100 to pre register or $125 day of show all for more laps and less money than Desoto.

Also, Desoto guarantee's payout no matter how many trucks show up.....Good luck getting Yoho to do that.

      Lets see here,

      Desoto is less laps
      Higher Payout
Lower entry fee into the race

The only thing ridiculous was your comment.

The 51nine truck will be at desoto....sad that yoho and spats doesnt care about other tracks before scheduling...

        And less laps...same money

        No brainer

Supporting the series is fine, supporting a track promoter who insists on pissing contests( and always loses ) is something different. The Desoto show will draw the most trucks, pay the most money, and draw the most fans through the injectors.
Larry Moyer was a fine guy and deserves a memorial race. But it needs to be scheduled on a night when no other trucks are running. Otherwise, you get this. Yoho loses again.

First off why would you schedule a race the week after the Coulter series race to begin with? All that does is put the truck racers in a bad situation of not being financially able to support both series. It makes them choose one or the other. So pay a bigger purse than the Coulter series and it becomes a no brainer for most racers. So much for working with one another! So with Desoto keeping their schedule and upping the purse better than the Spats series race is kind of little dose of your own medicine! So really no room for the sour feelings toward Desoto!
