You're the best! Do you have any DVD's or Blu Ray's of the SK or tour races from last year that I could buy? Thompson, Stafford, Waterford?

Thanks man! We love doing it. Here's another one from Icebreaker Weekend featuring the Limited Sportsman Division @ Thompson.... This is a new segment race format they have come up with... It makes things interesting to say the least! haha!

I have the subscription to you guys on YouTube... I think it's a great concept what you guys are doing. Basically commentating from the fans perspective. Tell me what's going on with the speedbowl. A couple of months ago I read that this might be the last year of racing... Care to elaborate?

Also check out fanschoice.tv for live streaming video coverage of every event at Thompson Speedway this year. I watched the Mod Tour Icebreaker on Sunday and the coverage was excellent.

All I can really say is that track owner Terry Eames is trying his best to bail himself out of this situation the right way. They are currently in process of repairing the old grandstands which have been there since the track opened originally. I would say about 60% of the grandstands are open right now. The entire middle section and about 12 rows of the sides, but they are making progress and doing a great job with the repairs. I can not comment whether Terry will be able to keep the track in his possession or not after the October auction date that is set. But I do know that there are some different people interested in purchasing and running the speedway if that is not the case.

Personally, I want to see them succeed and see the Speedbowl return to it's former glory. It's a great track with a LOT of history in New England Short Track Racing. It would be a shame to see it go away.

It was some pretty good footage from what I saw after the fact, however with us doing SidsView there at Thompson this year, we are a little worried it will take away from what we do a bit. Only time will tell though. There's nothing like SidsView

Oh yeah, love that Sid's View stuff. One of my favorites was watching my bud Glenn Griswold run the length of the Bowl last year chasing down Berry after he wrecked him in the SK Lites. Glenn is a big, big boy that I never knew could move that fast. Webby had trouble keeping up on his quad! I heard that Rocky Arbitell holds the mortgage for the Bowl. He is a huge race fan with deep pockets. There's no way he let's it go under. Gotta love the Bowl, proof that rednecks exist even way up in Connecticut!

IMO I think te edit I've seen ( if I can remember the year)
Was when Corey Hutchings ( #36 street stock) made it 3 wide off of 4 all 3 spun and Hutchings won spinning backwards by a bumper. All 3 ran either side of by side or 3 wide the whole race clean until turn 4 on the last lap... Great racing! And what I love about Sid's View is the Webby cam.. I think it's cool to see what the track official sees.

That was a great one there. It's funny, 2 of the 3 guys in that finish are friends of mine that I raced against alot (Jay Stuart and Hutchings). They don't like each other though! Stuart is also a car builder and built and setup Mod Tour champ Doug Coby's stuff when he was dominating his way through the lower divisions.

Glenn actually blew up his borrowed SKL engine unfortunately on Friday during Practice pretty much killing his hopes of running for a Championship this year... When Glenn came back last year he was a backmarker at first but each week he got faster and faster and then all of a sudden nobody could beat him. The man can flat out wheel a car for sure! I have a TON of respect for what he is able to do on the small budget he has. I wish I had an engine to loan him to get him back out there. I was told he is extremely concerned about borrowing another engine though after this one blew up because now he feels obligated to replace it. The incident with the 39skl last year almost ended his season. Destroyed that car completely. He came back with a new car 4 weeks later and dominated the entire day and the following couple weeks as well.

As for Arbitell, I am not sure if he wants to operate a race track... Unfortunately there is an Auction date of Oct 18th (http://racedayct.com/2014/01/judge-s...losure-matter/) for the Speedway. Hopefully an agreement of some sort can be reached before then.
