I am definitely going to tell you about my thoughts on last night. We drove 3.5 hours to see your club race, as our child absolutely love watching your drivers. He is 6 years old. Big Joey Aguilar fan, because he is so nice to the kids.
We very much enjoyed the race, and it was clean and exciting. What I DO NOT appreciate, is the behavior of that man with the white mustache. We took our kid down to the fence after the race, and he got to watch some poor sportsmanship by this person. I was later told this is the president of the club. Really? Ripping the winners check out of his hand, then attempting to start fights with him in the pits. I find out he is the father of the third place winner. Isn't his role as president a conflict of interest, as he cannot be impartial as a parent? He should be removed, after what I witnessed last night, he is a drama queen and totally unprofessional. He has no business doing what he does. He is bad for the club. I wonder how the sponsors feel, as I am SURE he is not one of them, and only benefits from their sponsorship. I am sure I will ask them as well.
Is this the behavior you want the fans and children to see? If you have an issue, take it off the track. Honestly, I want to return my TBARA shirts if he is going to behave this way. He owes everyone an apology for his behavior. As well as the driver that grabbed the winner the way he did.
Shane Butler- the autograph card you gave my kid has "YOU SUCK" written on it.. It was ridiculous, and dishonored Mr. Brazil as well.
The announcer- tone it down a bit- you make my ears hurt, and I wear earplugs!!! Learn how to pronounce the names of the drivers and stop calling out "the wildchild". People in the stands were getting pissed.
The driver count for the TBARA is down this year. I have yet to see more than 20 cars in the field. After what I saw last night, I now know why.
