VSP tonight

More cars there for an opener than I've seen in the last few yrs., but rumors were going around of a problem over at Bubba's that stopped their racing and let many of the cars there come over to VSP? Anyone know what it was?

Driver was seriously hurt , they revived the driver ,
after they made the anouncement to hold up the races at Volusia to wait for drivers to come from Ocala I only saw 4 cars enter Volusia

great racing, decent car count, decent fan base, all was good other than I was disappointed to see turn 4 seats removed, and the pa system could not be heard at all in turn 1.

Turn #4 stands were removed because as they were it was felt it was a safety hazard, they will be replaced before next yrs. Speed Weeks, I really liked the new lights and ate P.A. system that worked as it should, a big improvement from last yr.

The speakers outside of turns 1&2 didn't work at all sometimes, and when they did, the volume was so low it was almost useless. I could hear the pit speaker plain as day, but I'm not interested in pit announcements blasting me.... I want racing updates.

that's why I said decent, mods and 4cyl. classes need some boosting, I know we are talking about Florida racing here and everyone gets pumped when 100 cars show, but if you rate it 10 out of 10 what do you rate the speed weeks turnout?

I'm in no way trying to butcher VSP's success. its my favorite track, and just about the only one that has improved in the last few seasons.
