Pro truck series in florida

As a newbie truck owner moving my son from karting to cars, what info can anyone give me regarding what series to choose? From what I've been reading there is now two truck series on top of local race track schdules also hiding their own truck classes. Does anyone knowif the two truck series run on their own on their scheduled nights?
