Who made it to the tracks the most nights? I'm not talking about a track employee or a race team member, but what are your totals as a fan? I've got a theory on this. KARNAC's own "derf" has hit it hard this year. I bet he is around 20 nights, and my bud who is a blogger for Hoseheads.com is well into double digits too.

We only did two nights at nss. My wallet didn't allow more this week. Still had a great time watching the tourtype mods. Brought back great memories, and we were happy to see long island represented so well.

My money is also on Derf. He went EVERYWHERE it seemed.

Throw in 2 "events", the Modified Reunion & the Daytona Beach Parade, and I had an excellent Speedweeks this year. Only missed 1 day of work, and 2 days I was worthless until noon.

My surprise of the 'week' was the K&N Series. Both races I saw were impressive. Whith THAT MANY rich-kid Rookies, I expected both shows to be crash-fests. Neither one was, and the entire field should be proud of the event they put on. Two thumbs up.....!

The contracts are already signed.... they WILL be back in 2015.

24 hr Daytona. Great race with out the Nascar Hustle of the crowd
The weather was great in the middle of Speedweeks.
Wanted to make it to NSS but went to Daytona instead.

Speed weeks?

I only got to a few because the costs of going is more than a whole new set of tires for my own racing, Kind of makes me wonder how many others have the same problem?
