I think you made the point that I assumed you'd get at, they'll all soon be square tube. So aren't these guys ahead of the game? I can't figure out why/how buying the die's and making aftermarket metric "stock" frames is going to be cheaper or even better than just building them out of square tube. How about we take the (old hand me down) late models and put 602's and skinny, hard tires and a weight rule, and I guess whatever body you want(but you better pick one that appeals to the kids)? Isn't that the same and easier?

I'm NOT being a smart ass, I'm genuinely concerned about the future of entry level racing and It HAS to be addressed for the sport to survive in my opinion.

Think finding a metric front stub is going to be tough, try finding a 81 Monte Carlo/Cutlass, the official entry level body style.

You all talk about the frame. I see the weak link has always been the transmission. Its standard knowledge that no class wants to follow the trucks feature or qualifying. Because they dump trans fluid all the time. Nss had a large first lap super crash because of that this week. Also you are making changes to a class that is on life support with small truck counts stop changing and start concentrating on getting more competitors. The sportsman have done it. There are 21 sportsman at nss right now and there were seven trucks when they showed up. If your going to make a change put a clutch and 3 speed in them
