TNT coverage was horrible. I'll make sure I don't watch TNT's new series The Closer or grace, way too much overkill on promoting those 2 shows. With 15 laps to go they are concentrating on the middle of the pack to look for the big one. With a few laps to go they focus on Kahnes tire rub, I don't care about 9's tire rub, I wanna see whats going on up front. At the end they showed the last wreck over and over so we couldn't see all the fans throwing stuff on the track at Kyle Busch, show it like it is don't sugarcoat it or hide it.

Now wait just a damn minute. People bitch when all they do is focus on the front of the race and not give any attention to the mid packers. In my eyes thats were the most racing was going on was from about 12th to 25th.

How many passes for the lead did TNT miss? answer.. Plenty
I like to watch mid pack myself, UNLESS there is passing going on up front.
Not to mention all of the accidents they missed completely.
Man there was a lot of sh!! being thrown at pecker head. Too bad they all missed, but it was kind of funny they flashed away from it then when they went back you could see all the fluid running down the track from the stuff being thrown.
Lol, Too bad I couldnt make it, I have a pretty good arm.

What you want to see the top 3 only at the end? They actually did a great job showing where the action was not just showing the leaders who were single file. Also you don't want to see the replay from every angle they had so we all could see that Nascar called it correctly? Sounds like someone just hates Kyle Busch! I heard a lot of cheers as well as the normal boo's he always gets when he was at the flag stand.Originally posted by soupkitchen View PostTNT coverage was horrible. Yes, I saw many aluminum cylindrical-shaped adult beverages being thrown onto the Raceway, and they quickly darted to something else, kind of like when an drunken/streaker fan runs onto a Baseball field in the middle of the 8th inning on WGN Cubs game, they won't show him. They promptly go to the skybooth, where the announcers peer into the camera and blow some off-beat stats about the teams for 90 seconds, and in the background, the Stadium is cheering/booing very audibly.
So, was anybody there to see this?
How did it go? Any ejections/arrest made? Did it compare to the Pocono Race a couple of years ago when Jeff Gordon won?

He is young and hopefully will mature but is a DAMN good driver!Originally posted by Edm View PostOf course I am not a fan. I think they guy is an arrogant little prick. Just my opinion, however he is very good, I wont take that away from him.

Back Stretch Seats......suck !!
One race sitting in that area told me 'never go back'. You can only see the roofs of the cars as they go by at 190mph unless someone spins out. Went to the Pepsi race 3 years ago and my wife fell asleep before lap 100.
The fireworks woke her up. Everyone stood up for the whole race. They stood on their SEATS. Watched the race on the jumbo tron right in front of us----could have stayed home to do that.
Again.....BACK STRETCH SEATS SUCK !!!
--JIM---RIP Jack Smith and Kim Brown. Many thanks for all you have done for our sport.

Jim.. I love to go, but the prices burn my arse... So I sit on the Back stretch.. My couch with cooler full of cold adult beverages and a 60 inch big screen 10-12 feet in front of me.. How can I say it cost effective... LOL.... Saving money up for racing....
Honestly though I may not like Busch, but I have to give it to him that he is turning into one damn good racer... I believe they call it having the season of a lifetime...

Lousy Fans !!!
drivers get penalties for throwing things so fans should be removed from the facility for littering the track. i am NO fan of Kyle Bushes but to me that is really poor sportsmanship and i agree with others... kyle is about the best driver in NASCAR at this time but he needs to mature. i remember them booing and doing the same to Tony and Kurt...they have matured and i think Kyle will too... but if fans keep acting like ill mannered kids maybe kicking a few of them out will get the message across...

Carol.. Great point.. There is a point at which we need to realize that it is too far.... I have been on the receiving end of such a Spectacle... I can remember a few years ago (quite a few)... I was new to a track and I won a heat race and beat the local favorite... I got booed.. During the A main, the local favorite and I battled it out for almost the entire race... I proceeded to soundly beat him at the end of the race by almost 6 car lengths... Due to him screwing up coming out of a corner when he tried to put me in the wall.... He missed, and fell back... At the presentation, People were booing, yelling, and throwing things... I couldn't believe it...
At times I think our passions and our judgement gets clouded... and we just don't realize how silly and/or stupid we really are....

Carol they should be thrown in jail and never allowed back into the track. My friend lives in Alabama and goes to Talladega every year, and is always having to watch his back if anything bad happens to Jr. in the race. He almost got nailed with a Pepsi bottle from the upper deck when Jeff Gordon won a few years ago luckily it missed by a few inches but that would have seriously hurt him if it had hit. It isn't needed Boo if you don't like the guy but don't throw things!
