  • The best food of Speedweek/Winter Nationals/World Series

So far for me, there is a clear leader: the Gyros at the Asian concession at Volusia. It is behind the stands toward turn 1, in Volusia's excellent souvenir and food mall. In fact, the Gyro was so good that the mud glob thrown on it by practicing racecars, and that I unwittingly consumed while keeping my eyes on the track, only affected that single bite. Otherwise it was terrific!

I am a creature of habit - Pork Chop sammich for me lots of new choices it seemed though. Also picked up a cool Haudenschild long sleeve t shirt for $10. So many choices there.
