Gary Laplant, Rick Bristol make announcement concerning his health & Citrus !
Gary & I were to make this announcement Saturday but due to the weather & cancelation we make it today !
I will have to step down as the active GM of Citrus County Speedway, at the direction of my doctors. I will be faced with a serious personal heath issue that will require less stress and the ability to focus on what is ahead. After talking to the doctors I will still try to handle the Joey Coulter Florida Pro-Truck Series, as it is spread out and allows rest and focus in between races. I will still do the charity events for our foundation, but will be asking our board members for more help this year to accomplish the events. I have talked to many of the staff at Citrus and asked them to keep working to make Citrus a great place to race and fun ! Gary and I will still talk and I can help with schedules, announcements etc. from my house I will still do that. I am asking those of you that pary just to pray that God works in this, through this and accomplishes His will for me.
