Rain is close to the track right now. I am waiting to leave. Gas is too expensive for a raincheck.

Same here, I am waiting in DeLand to see what happens, not so much cuz of gas but just dont want to waste the time. Weather.com shows it right next door to them. Anybody there at the track give an update?

Wayne Anderson winner in the SLM
          Scott Bishop, trucks
          Patrick Thomas, SSS
          Rusty Ebersole, LM
          William Hindman, SS

There was a brief shower around 6:30, so they started a little late. Otherwise, the weather was fine and the racing was pretty good too.

Racing was pretty darn good at NSS... Car Count was good... Fan count was pretty good too.... Just wanted to say hello to everybody that I met at NSS from Karnac... Hey Rex, Jerry, jim, Julie, and all.... what time did you all get back home or did you hang out at the track in the camper until yesterday... ROFLMAO

I think I hopped in the Truck to leave around 1:30-2:00 am or so to get the racecar and the driver home... My ole' tired butt dragged in to my place about 3:30, in military terms that is O dark thirty...

Again it was great meeting you all... Hope to see you all and meet you all again very soon....

Rex,Jerry and Julie, and Roger all went home. My wife and grandson and I spent the night in the parking lot. Went home about 0830 Friday.
Sorry we missed you Duane. Had a good time though.

Hey Jim... You should have given me a call... I would have stopped by and visited with you guys... It was wonderful meeting you and I really hope to see you very soon again... Hopefully shortly...

Hold it now... NSS has a fan Appreciation night coming shortly... Let me check the schedule and see, maybe we can get everybody to run over here... I hear tell the Grandstand is $5.00 to get in... Give me a call and I will check... Have a great night... Turned down tickets tonight for Daytona, watching it on the Big tube at home...

                    See you next time...

Jim... Drop me your phone or text number... I forgot to catch it.... Too much in a hurry with the race and the boss (ole' lady, wife, better half, etc. etc... Your preference...) so as not too get yelled at too much...

I think fan appreciation night is this Sat. July 12th. I race at Bronson on Saturday nights. I'll take a rain check on that though.

                        Not to butt in...

Don't call your wife a Battle ax! Jim gave me the "what for" one time about that.

Battle Axe is not something that I would use.. Don't forget I am divorced and I know all about that...

                            Nick Names

My favorite nick name to call her is BOSS. She knows what I mean by it and gets a little PO'D.
                            Just spell it backwards......Double SOB......

Good to meet Flaraceguy - Duane - at the track (and Thanks again for the freebie!).
Julie & I went with AB195 Roger, and met up there with:.
Speedweeks Junkie Mike, his girlfriend Jennifer and friend Brian (lucky SOB just got his Knoxville Nationals tickets... I'm WAY jealous dude!).
                              Boneman Rex
Ocala Jim and lovely wife Virginia
                              Flaraceguy Duane

Saturday was spent watching the 400 with another group of race-crazies:
Chris & Kim Brown, Mark Keeler and Laura, Frank & Mary Keeler, Robert Hart, Rusty Marcus, Mark's sister (so sorry, the name escapes me) and brother-in-law Tom, and various chillun's of the group.

Must say, it was a lot of fun this weekend, and great to see so many of my friends. Thanks to all of you for contributing to a great time!

                              Jerry & Julie!
