Joey Coulter Florida Pro-Truck Series announces schedule, added track and series sponsor

Orlando FL. 1-25-14 - Today series director Rick Bristol announced today that in cooperation Jimmy Cope and Desoto Speedway will join the 2014 Joey Coulter Florida Pro-Truck Series.

“ Joey and I are excited to have the added support of Jimmy and Desoto Speedway as they take new steps in 2014 as well. We look forward working with them and having great events there” stated Bristol.

“ I am looking forward to working with Joey and Rick to make this truck series a great series for the drivers and the tracks involved. With cooperation already in place it is a win, win for all of us to work together and make a strong, successful series” stated Cope.

“ Rick has worked hard to pull this series together, make a schedule and find sponsorship, it the reason I wanted him to head it up. I am thankful to Rex Guy and Rick Williams for cooperating by releasing the trucks from FUPS and allowing us to work together to have a premier truck series. I am thankful also for Rex and Auburndale Speedway, Jaimie Haase and Three Palms Speedway, Jimmy Cope and Desoto Speedway and Gary Laplant and Citrus County Speedway joining and supporting what Rick and I are trying to accomplish. Rick and I will work hard to make sure the tracks, drivers and sponsors have a well run, professional series that they can be proud to be a part of. I am excited about what we can accomplish in the future with this together” stated Coulter.

The series is excited to announce they have a series sponsor and it will add great strength to the series. Fellows Truck Brokers of Davenport FL. will be the series title sponsor, and with this sponsorship the series as of now has a $7000 points fund for the 2014 season with more still being worked on. A minimum of $1000 will go to the series champion. The top 10 series member drivers, completing 80% of the events and that attend the banquet will receive awards, plaques, trophies and points money. The planned points fund payout will be handed out at the first event on March 15th. Series membership is $125 for the season and will be added to the points fund.
Fellows Truck Brokers with Wayne T. Fellows Trucking and Davenport Fights back is heavily involved in community events and charities and is a great sponsor for the series. They will promote their company but also some of the Cancer Charity events they hold to help various charities.

“ When Rick asked me about being a part, honestly I looked for every reason to say no, but after working with Rick on several charity events and meeting Joey Coulter at the charity race, I had to say yes. Sometimes people are brought together for a reason, that's how I feel about working with Rick and Joey with our company and doing great things for the charities we both care about very much. We look forward to doing some great things together promoting the trucks, tracks and our companies and charity events, and we sponsor Kim Scheffler’s truck as well” stated Donna Fellows.

“ Donna and Fellows Truck Brokers have been a great help to our charity events, and now step up to sponsor the series, Rick and I appreciate so much their support and look forward to working together to accomplish great things with the series and our charity events” added Coulter.

“ With some more information to be released, a web site to get up and running and finalizing two other TBA dates we are still working on, here is the 2014 Schedule, tracks and dates.
