Anyone else want to post their racing numbers from 2013?

sprint car: 11 races at 5 tracks, no wins, but no DNF's either.
    2 rainouts, 4 promotion appearances.

karting with my 2 boys: 14 nights at 3 tracks.
One of them scored 9 wins in 11 starts at our home track, and he won the JRII class championship.

stock cars: I had one night in the Crasharama enduro, and dropped out with 2 flats.

spectating: 33 nights at Daytona, Bowman Gray, and 10 Florida short tracks.

All in all, one fine year in racing. Back for more in 2014!

Quite the year Bone.... I'm impressed..!

For myself, it was kind of a down year, but I hit approx 25 shows at 11 different tracks (12 if you count a bad-ass day of Drag racing at OSW Dragstrip).

Didn't realize until Boneman got me thinking, but never made it to Citrus for the first time in many years. Also didn't make it to ANY out-of-state tracks, and everything else was within a 2 hour drive. I LOVE a racing road-trip, but didn't do any this year.

    Must be fixed next year......

Forgot about one more..... I did go to an 'event', at a 'track', although it doesn't 'exist' anymore:

One of my cool adventures was the lap taken on the old Daytona Beach Course, by a bunch of Vintage cars, antique Motorcycles, and former racers that actually ran the Beach when it was still a sanctioned event (last run on in 1958). That was before I was even born, but I've learned a lot of history from there as ingot older.

Just from the historical aspect alone,it was COOL as hell.

To stand in the North turn taking pictures today, then looking back at the famous names plowing through those same tire tracks I was standing in..... PRICELESS..!!!!!!!!

          Two Thumbs Up Gary.

You officially qualify for the "Real Race Fan" club.

If you keep it up for 20 more years, you might catch OSF..!

Kidding aside, the versatility of a fan gives more 'street cred' than someone who sees every race at one track, versus a few shows at several places....

Ran mostly at Ellisville, but missed a few. Finished 2nd in points for the third year in a row. 2 at Ellisville and one at Bronson.
Race a part time schedule at New Smyrna as an e-mod, finished 6th in points.
Visited a few tracks... Citrus, A'dale, Showtime, Full Throttle/Desoto, Bubba..
Looks like NSS in 2014 so far..

Only made it to four tracks to either work or spectate... OSW, NSS, VSP & Auburndale...

Best racing BY FAR - VSP LM/Mods/Big Blocks in Feb. Saw three shows... Was a bummer that I missed the Sprints but you can't stop bad weather that canceled the ones I was gonna see...

Had free tickets to every race at Daytona but didn't go to a single one...

Only 7 Sportsman starts at 5 different tracks due to 5 rainouts! 1 win at Ellisville, 3 top 5's, 6 top 10's, 1 DNF (ignition switch), 1 heat win (Bronson).

Spectated at Daytona (Battle at the Beach), NSS, Citrus, Showtime, Ellisville, and A-Dale.

Hope to do a lot more racing in 2014 running the full schedule at Desoto Speedway in the Late Model Sportsman class.

lets all take a long ride on a short bus.

I quit fishing because no one was standing at the docks handing out money when i got back, why did you quit racing?

Attended 38 races at 11 tracks in 2013. Included were NSS,VSP,Auburndale, Citrus, OSW, BRP, EB, Daytona, Homestead, Darlington, and my first trip to NFS. Saw many good nights of racing. Would have to list the Powell Memorial at Citrus as perhaps the best race of the season for me. As always NSS & VSP had very good Speedweeks. Gov Cup weekend at NSS was good as well. First trip to NFS saw large car count and excellent racing, looking forward to a return trip there during 2014. My trip to Ellisville was rained out so no count in totals for that one. Looked like a neat track. All in all I would have to say I had a very enjoyable year of spectating in 2013. As a bonus I got to meet OSF and Boneman this season. As always the TBARA races were awesome. Met some real neat people during the racing season. Folks, all have a Happy New Year and am looking forward to meeting more of you in 2014,
