  • The Zacharias family from Vestal NY, are kinda like the Kinsers from Bloomington IN...... there's more racers in this 3rd generation family than you can count. I'll bet there are at least 15-18 Zacharias family members that have spent some time behind the wheel.

Jimmy is doing a great job of carrying in the family tradition. He wins abunch of races, run several different cars, and tackles new challenges.

He's bringing "2 good pieces, and some high quality help" to NSS. He didn't mention it, but Daytona being a 1/2 hour away is almost a guarantee he'll be at both tracks

    • Some more PASS Winter Meltdown entries:

Matt Daley from NC is pretty much a raw rookie to this stuff. This will be his first visit to NSS.

      • Transplanted New Yorker, Bill Catania has entered a couple of Speedweeks in the past. He'll be pulling down from NC where his new home is.

        • Another son of a NASCAR Dad, Jared Irvan will make his NSS debut in the PASS race. His Dad, Ernie is usually on hand at his sons races. In just a couple of years in full sized cars, he has shown speed & talent.

          • Anthony Cataldi ran the PASS race at A-Dale last year, and had a solid rookie season in the FUPS Series, and has turned into a good racer wherever he shows up at.

            • TJ Duke from Southwest Ranches Fla looks like he has quite a diverse list of experience. It seems I've seen him in Modifieds and everything else up the the Camping World Trucks.

He's bringing a SLM to the PASS race.

              • Second generation ass-kicker, Ben Rowe, will be here all the way from frozen Maine.

Much of his success has come in the Richard Moody 4 car, but they went separate ways for a season..... neither did as well apart as they did together. So they decided to hook back up, and went straight to the front of the pack again.

This multi-time PASS champion gets around all the tracks really well. Both tracks in Fla I've seen him at (NSS & USA-Lakeland), he was very fast.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't pull out a top 5, and is an odds-on favorite to win.

                • Chuck Hossfeld from Ransomville NY has been coming to NSS for several years. You'll always see him in the top 5, and a win or 2 that week are real possibilities.

                  • A couple years ago in the Richie Evans 100, Ron Silk was part of a 3-way battle for the win along with Ted Christopher and Bobby Grigas III.

It was a THRILLING race.... one that those in attendance won't forget for a long time. To me, it still goes down as one of the best races I've ever seen in my 45 years as a fan.

Ron finished 2nd in that one, but he'll be back to get one that's owed to him.

                    • Canadian Brandon Watson has won some Pro Late races at New Smyrna, but this time he's bringing a Super Late. He's another one of the guys that splits his time between the template bodies and the Wedge bodies. Good racer right there....

                      • ......... my buddy........

Steven Wallace will be in town to see how many other people's cars he can tear up, and hissy fits to throw.

He's probably the only driver coming to Speedweeks that I wish would just stay home...!

                        • Dan Leeck is a strong racer back home in Michigan, but I think this will be my first time to see him in person.

                          • Chuck Tuck from Alabama seems to show up at 5-Flags for The Snowflake 100, but I've never seen him run.

                            • Payton Ryan is making the move up from Legends to the Pro LM ranks. He is somewhat of a team mate to Daniel Hemric (who is the one pictured) in the Jack Links Meat Snacks 54 that looks just like this car.

I believe his debut was this last weekend at Speedfest in GA.

                              • Every year, Andrew Gresel comes down from Ontario, runs in the top 5, and somehow attracts bad luck like a magnet.

By the end of the week, his car carries more duct tape than paint job.

He's also yet ANOTHER guy that has a Wedge bodied LM back home.
