Hurryin' Hank Lower has finally retired after an incredible 54 years of racing Sprint cars. That makes 7 decades he has raced in.

Hank didn't do much racing here in Florida, but I know I've seen him on the dirt of East Bay, and the asphalt at New Smyrna just a few years ago. For an old guy he wasn't afraid to travel to follow his passion.

I hope Hank enjoys his retirement.... he sure put in enough laps to earn it.
