Called Rick Bristol today and he informed me he is interested in having the Sportsman class added to the "Joey Coulter Charity Race Weekend". Unfortunately the 07 Sportsman is in pieces getting some badly needed maintenance in preparation for the 2014 season. But the rest of you Sportsman guys can still be a part of this great event. The best part is that just about every nickel taken in from these races are given back to children with serious and often terminal illnesses and the families that struggle under these circumstances. Christmas is the "Season of Giving" so why not give back by simply doing what we do anyway, RACING!!! Rick is testing the waters to see what the interest would be for adding the Sportsman so if you have a car still intact and want to run give Rick a call @ (407) 497-0448 or email him @ rbmini68@aol.com ASAP!!! He'll give you details about the race when you contact him. This is a great opportunity to get in one last race before the year ends and help children badly in need at the same time. There's a lot of Sportsman out there so please try and run if you can. I can't race but i'll be there lending my support. If you can't race at least come out and support the event and see some great racing for only $5 to get in Friday and only $10 to see the big Pro Truck race Saturday featuring Joey Coulter and Todd "The Onion" Bodine going up against the FL regulars. And remember Rex doesn't get the bucks, the children in need do.
