News about Bobby Diehl from his wifes FB..
.I hope you don't mind me using Facebook for general Bob updates. It is easier to share once. Bobby Diehl is still critical but stable. He has a little fever which is not unusual after both surgeries. Our next worry and hopefully last worry is his left kidney but we are watching it. It was not totally cut off from blood flow so we are hoping it kicks back in. Once again, I am completely overwhelmed by such amazing friends, colleagues, and family. I know that such a group of incredible people will help Bobby find his way back to us.

Continued thoughts and prayers with Bobby for a speedy and full recovery.
Does anyone have the hospital address and room number to at least send a card as I'm sure he can't have visitors besides immediate family. Carol, can you post Bobby's wife's email? I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask her.
May God Bless Bobby and his family while they are going through this difficult time. Bobby gave me his full support when I went through a heart surgery with many complications and I'd like to give him the same support.

From what I understand he had about 8 major surgeries last week. They put him in an induced coma. First he had a heart attack and then had other organs start to fail. Im getting bits of info. His wife Sylvia Diel has been posting updates on her Facebook page. I ve been so busy getting ready for tomorrow. As soon as its over I will find better info and post it. I know Bobby will be happy when he sees your posts...

bOBBY UPDATE.

Bob update: Bobby got a good night's sleep last night! So excited! Thankful for the ICU nurses everywhere! They are saints.
tHIS IS FROM YESTERDAY..Bob Thanksgiving Update: Good news is we are down to two tubes: feeding and trach. Bad news is we are back in ICU. He is not worse but we have new digs on the 5th floor. Bob is doing well as far as lungs and heart are concerned but still has a lot of 'crackle' in his trach. They want him to work with the respiratory doctor and have more intensive work to get rid of it. We are thankful for doctors and nurses that care.

Some of us don't have facebook or any other contact with Bobby's wife and some of us would like to send Bobby a card and maybe speak with his wife. Apparently you are well aware of how Bobby is doing but the rest of us don't and we would like to know a little more. So it would be greatly appreciated if you could put on the forum some contact information for Bobby and Sylvia. Having gone through what appears to be the same thing I was challenged with for 10 months I know I can help Sylvia and the family get through this. Thanking you in advance for any further information you can give us contact wise.

Thanks Carol, certainly understand how crazy Thanksgiving can get with the little ones around and you've got to enjoy them while you can as they grow up so fast, as in the blink of an eye.
