Between matt albe runnin my mouth,Steady sleaz and misinformed Frassion you guys really have it figured out. So i think the three of you should get together and get these huge sponsers for all the racetracks that are there just for the asking. You all know how to fix all the problems but i dont see any one of you standing up to say i will help, its just easier to bash the tracks or anybody thats ever ran a series, if you three are that smart you guys need to help all the strugging tracks in the USA cause we all no they need help. But we no you guys will just be here flapping your gums wasting real racers time,why dont just one of you do something good for racing for once in your life instead of trashing everyone that does. I think its time for you guys to putup or shutup cause none of you have done any good for the sport! so lets see who comes up with the biggest sponsorship to help all of the struggling racetracks out there. PS- read the post from danielles doctor it could have been worse if anything had been done different. PUTUP OR SHUTUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do something good for racing??? Okay, how about I put up a recommendation for a top quality race car/ engine builder? Jimmy Cope Race Cars.
Racing series and race tracks that deserve to get bashed, get bashed. Same for the people running them. The fact that you don't agree doesn't alter that fact. But by all means, feel free to post anytime you don't agree, that's what this board is for.
There have been countless good ideas posted here to help tracks over the years by all three of us as well as everyone else on the board. Some of those ideas have been implemented, most haven't. But that doesn't mean we all won't keep trying.
So don't count on anyone shutting up.

Thanks for the kind words EZ. Likewise I can always count on you for an intelligent and respectful debate on those occasions when we don't agree (with a little humor and/or sarcasm thrown in for good measure). But back on topic, you are dead on in thinking that it is even more imperative for ambulances to be on site at the more rurally located tracks. I don't think an ambulance could get to Bronson in 8 minutes, as did the one at Adale.

Just to clarify that "8 minute response", it may have been 8 minutes to respond from when they were called, but it was NOT 8 minutes after the wreck. It was more like 20 between the crash and the arrival of an ambulance.

I'm sure if the situation had been more serious than it was, that call would have been put in much quicker.

But it's very mis-leading to believe that the ambulance was on scene less than 10 minutes from the impact.

As for rural locations..... Volusia isn't close to ANYTHING for medical attention. A few years back, my buddy had a heart attack in the stands. I ran to the tower, who dispatched both the EMT's and the track ambulance. They did have to call in 'transport' from Deland, but the equipment they had on board stabilized my friend until the crew from Fish Memorial arrived. I'm grateful for the people & equipment that were on hand. Luckily, I got to follow an ambulance home that night instead of a hearse.

You already made it known that you did not time the event with a stop watch.

The human mind makes time seem much longer when recalling events. Even longer when someone has consumed alcohol and quadruple that when smoking weed.

I do all of my drinkin' & smokin' on my WAY to church.

This week I'll make sure to ask forgiveness for all of my concern for race divers safety. Obviously, we don't need to take any personal precautions or responsibilities, since its all in Gods hands anyways. How foolish of me to think that maybe we could prevent a tragedy by being pro-active rather than re-active.

So, this Sunday, say an extra prayer for my drunk/stoned ass.... I obviously need severe help. All this concern is truly un-American, if not downright sacreligious.

And someday, when you all are praying for a 'full recovery', I'll be praying that next time, people won't be as ignorant as they were this time....
