First visit to Showtime

Finally made it to Showtime Speedway last night. Great time. Pretty strong fields and a lot of (surprisingly) clean racing. The movie theater seats in turn 4 were a nice touch. Bathrooms were clean and the line to get beer was short.

Above all, Yoho is great on the mic. He may be a Vince McMahon wannabe and at least 3-quarters crazy, but he's an entertainer, and my group was entertained. It's a nice added element.

Look forward to returning on my next trip down to Florida.

Joe, if only we could get a track like this in N Georgia? They would be turning fans away at the highway!

You aren't kidding, although I feel like we have a track like Showtime up here. It's called Lanier -- and, my goodness, what a sad story that place is.

The only thing I didn't care for at Showtime was the spin rule. Twice the leader was spun while blocking pretty hard, and twice the leader got to keep the position while the accused went to the tail. If it were up to me, I'd send them both to the tail.
