...?? How in the hell did we miss *this* piece of what seems to be BIG short-track news? Was there anything about this on Speed51 or anywhere else, for that matter?
SpeedwayBenefits.com was announced publicly on 10/8/2013 - a day I will never forget. The significance of this day and its timing is and has become confirmation that notice has been served. Grassroots, short track, hometown racing has been delivered a renewed strength. An aligning force has begun and is taking the sport by storm. Those of us "living a dream" by "going all in" to purchase, repair, preserve and promote a racetrack now have a collaborative leadership by one of, if not THE best promoter of all times, Mr Humpy Wheeler.
In just a few short weeks the strength of this alignment is palpable. Negotiations are well underway to BENEFIT all racetracks who sign on to be aligned.
This will be the first of many posts I will write here at Bronson Speedway to keep our drivers, sponsors, crews ,families, friends and fans informed...
One of many negotiations taking place already is with cell phone service providers...Yes you know them...but with over 400+ racetracks aligned already to date, we now have their attention and some bargaining power. Stay tuned exciting results will be shared here..
