It said last years Battle at the Beach was a great race NOT in my opinion and that the K&N east late models will race at NSS other than that it was pretty non informative. Oh and the whelen modified race will be back at DIS.

There was no official statement from NASCAR and New Smyrna Speedway as stated above.

Agreed on above....PR pieces on several drivers and 20 second blurb about New Smyrna getting a K&N race. I realized why I don't watch Nascar anymore watching that mess...

I would be very surprised if the Battle on The Track Apron was changed at all. Why mess with success? Race cars on a parking lot with used tires for walls, now that's my idea of a race.
I only hope that the ENTIRE field of modifieds also races at NSS. Last years turnout was pretty sad.
