Desoto Speedway Ebr Update

There has been a lot of talk about to incident between Jefferson and Sappricone. Im asking everyone to please let it rest. The he said she said and whatever else goes with it. It was a bad racing deal for everyone. Myself and all the other people involved in this great event do not want it to be remembered by what happened in the pits.


We want it to be remembered as an awesome event. When was the last time that anyone ever started 32 mods at Bradenton. As for the people who said that 32 was too many, its a sad thing that the other 5 cars in the pits broke because we would have started them too! Aint it about the show? BTW great idea Jimmy Cope.

What about the fact that when you looked in the stands that there were actually people there. Its been a damn long time since I've seen that at Desoto.
What about the people in the pits? Kinda reminded me of the Stimas Days.. Wall to wall rigs 30 plus people around each car talking.. kinda reminded me of the midway at a damn fair.
How about a flag man that jumps and carrys on like hes had to many 5 hour energys.
What about all the kids that got a signed frisby in the grand stands. I bet you the kid that caught LJ Grimms is still grinning!
What about that kick ass party Friday night, great food, live band, racers and their familys hanging out having a great time!
SEE people these are the things that everyone involved in this race want you to remember. THE POSITIVE THINGS... because THOSE THAT KNOW, KNOW!

That's why you are so special to all of us. You use common sense and put things in perspective... You make it possible for us to fondly remember our friend EDDIE BRANN.. The last thing I want to remember is the BS that happened. Thank you Tony for all you do to promote this race. You add so much to it...

Totally agree Tony. Awesome weekend for my wife and I. I gained 6 lbs. too.. LOL

What ever happened in the pits that nobody wants to talk about. Heard it was a good race but not being there would like to know the REST OF THE STORY.. There are two sides to everything.....
